3 Barquist Announcements Fort Detrick Influenza Vaccination Schedule Barquist is offering eligible Tricare beneficiaries the flu vaccine in building 1520 on Oct. 28, 31 and Nov 2 from 7:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Only DoD Civilians who are eligible Tricare beneficiaries. Children under 3 years old will receive their vaccination at Barquist Immunization Clinic only and may come during walk in clinic hours 8 11 a.m. and 1 3 p.m. The Vaccine will be offered until supplies are exhausted. 4 Events: Oct. 28 Fort Detrick Fall Events Kicking off a night of fun, stop over to the parking lot of the Auditorium and check out Trunk or Treat, watch the Pumpkin Chunkin competition, or celebrate Oktoberfest by jumping around in the bounce houses, enjoying food and games and then make sure to go inside the Community Activities Center for the Fort Detrick Chapel s Annual Harvest Festival. Pumpkin Chunkin' staging for competitors will held at 4:30 p.m. with competition beginning at 5 p.m. Come out and enjoy the bouncy house, pumpkin patch, food and fun! o Fort Detrick Chapel Annual Harvest Fest Oct. 28, Community Activities Center, Building p.m. 7 p.m. This free event will be held in conjunction with the FMWR Oktoberfest and the USAMRMC Trunk or Treat. Harvest Fest offers a family oriented alternative to traditional Halloween trick or treat.

This year, Early Voting occurs October 27 through November 3, 8 a.m. 8 p.m. each day. There are now four Early Voting locations in Frederick County and voters can use any of the four centers to cast their vote. The first Early Voting Center will be set up in the Frederick County Department of Aging/Senior Center, located at 1440 Taney Avenue, Frederick, Md. (Early voting operations will not disrupt regularly scheduled events at the Senior Center, but seniors will be encouraged to sign up in advance for certain activities.) The second Early Voting Center will be set up at the Thurmont Regional Library, located at 76 East Moser Road, Thurmont, Md. The third Early Voting Center will be set up at the Urbana Regional Library, located at 9020 Amelung Street, Frederick, Md.

10 The fourth and newest Early Voting Center will be set up at the Middletown Volunteer Fire Department Activities Center, located at 1 Fireman s Lane, Middletown, Md.
