2 ACTIVITIES OF AIR WING & THE PRESTIGIOUS AIR CAMPS AIR cadets are trained to develop their skills in AIR WING activities. Various camps are organized by 1 TN AIR (SQN) NCC for this purpose. Main activities in the Air Wing Camps are: Gliding FLYING Microlite Flying (generally ZENAIR CH 701 STOL A/C) And attachment to Air force Stations/Establishments is the main activity.

10 FIRING The perfect weapon training is given to the cadets by the Permanent Instructors of 1TN AIR SQN NCC. There are four types of firing activities in NCC. They are: 0.22 Firing Snap shooting Application firing Skeet shooting

15 VAYU SANIK CAMP (VSC) This centrally organized camp is specially meant for Air Wing Cadets. Cadets from all the Directorates take part in this camp and get trained in various AIR WING activities. VSC is generally conducted in the month of October at Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Many of our College Cadets have participated in this prestigious Camp. Their details are given in the table below

16 REPUBLIC DAY CAMP THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS CAMP NCC Republic Day Camp is the culmination of all NCC Training activities. RDC is held at Garrison Parade Ground, Delhi from 01 to 29 Jan Selected NCC Cadets from 17 directorates take part in the Camp. The Camp is inaugurated by the Honorable Vice President of India and culminates with Prime Minister's Rally on 28 Jan. 19 RDC-NIC These are National Integration camps that are conducted on All India Level. These camps help in bridging the cultural gaps among various States of India. In special NIC CAMP that takes place in RAJPATH, New Delhi, various cultural activities are performed in front of our honorable prime minister by the cadets from various states of India.

21 AIR FORCE ATTACHMENT CAMP Every year air wing conducts air force attachment camp. In this camp, cadets are imparted knowledge about all the eight branches of air force namely FLYING, NAVIGATION, EDUCATION, MEDICAL, ADMINISTRATION, LOGISTICS, METEOROLOGY, And ENGINEERING.

24 OFFICER TRAINING ACADEMY CAMP The Officers Training Academy Camp, which is generally held at Gwalior, is a camp in which cadets are motivated to join the armed forces of our country. The cadets are exposed to various tests of SSB, from screening to medicals. It helps cadets to inculcate the OLQ (officer like qualities).

29 OUR COLLEGE NCC CADETS CONTRIBUTION TO THE SOCIETY JEEVAN SPARSHAM TOUCHING SOULS JEEVAN SPARSHAM is a Chain of Social Service Events organized by 1 TN AIR (SQN) NCC. Cadets are imparted the qualities of social awareness and social responsibilities. Many events that touch the soul of the society are organized and cadets contribute their best physically and mentally.

30 Some of the events are: Wall paintings on social issues, Helping rural community, Registering willingness for Organ donation, Creating awareness about AIDS, cancer and other killing diseases Creating awareness on road safety. Cleaning temple, library, hospital and other public places when need arises. Helping orphan children and third genders Motivating youths to join the Indian Defense Services.

The Event was Helping Rural Community. Cadets of 1 TN AIR SQN also won the OVERALL JS TROPHY IN In the year also, Our Cadets received award for BEST EVENT. The Event was named as India s Wall Painting. A fabulous painting that campaigned SWACH BHARATH was done by our cadets. Cadets of 1 TN AIR SQN also won the OVERALL JS RUNNERS TROPHY IN In the year , 1 TN AIR SQN cadets were awarded OVERALL JS TROPHY in appreciation of the social events that were meticulously planned and organized.
