18 Sports For Development Program Education Magic Bus Foundation MoU signed with Magic Bus to reach out to 1200 children over the next three years working from Neelasandra and Vivek Nagar Mapping of Schools and Primary Health Care Centres Identifying Youth Mentors and Community Youth Leaders (CYLs) Conducting training sessions for the CYLs and acclimatizing them with the Sports for Development Curriculum CYLs to deliver sessions for the community members. 18

Around 6,500 books have been identified to be provided to these 25 schools Monitoring and mentoring of the School Teachers and Resource Staff Creation of book-based learning activities for children Creation of book-based learning activities for children Creating a volunteering calendar to engage employees and enabling visits and volunteering events 27

Around 6540 books will be identified to be provided to these 25 schools Training around 132 teachers on the programme methodology that will include book-selection procedure, book-grading technique, activities for children, book-issue methodology, filling histogram charts and extracting information from it Assessments through Reading Histogram and bi-annual assessments will help to measure the reading levels of children Creating a volunteering calendar with various activities to include RBEI employees so that a greater awareness of public schooling can be created amongst them Monitoring and mentoring of the school teachers and Resource staff 28

46 Computer Training Education Don Bosco Project identified by SL1FK Team Site Visit & Preparation of Proposal A joint project between Bosch India Foundation & RBEI was proposed Project proposed to JMT and Approval to commence was taken 46

47 Computer Training Education Don Bosco MoU signed with Don Bosco for imparting Computer Education with a view of rehabilitating street and working with children in Coimbatore Computer Training center was set up 1 Project Coordinator & 1 trainer was identified. Additionally 1 more trainer appointed later 30 students identified, who started attending the 1 st Batch (Feb 2013) On completion of the course, certificates were handed over 2 nd Batch started in July

51 Eco Village, Bandipur Education Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) 2015 MoU signed with CAF for bringing back the pristine glory of Tribal people in Bandipur Tiger Reserve Identification of Jan Kuruba Tribes who are the targetted audience of the Eco-Village Project Empowering the community through alternate livelihood means that involves:- a) Home Projects:-Eco-Chulhas, Kitchen Nurseries, Ventilation B) Community Projects:-Village Pond Renovation, Environmental Awareness Campaign, Social Forestry c) Lantana Craft Project d) Bee Keeping Project e) Village Sapling Nursery f) Wildlife Vocational Skills Training Project will reestablish the green cover, introducing eco friendly livelihood practices, traditional livelihood and marketable use of local resources
