The undersigned is directed to state that consequent upon approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet for promotion of five (05) officers to the Senior Administrative Grade of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (Scale of pay : Rs Grade Pay Rs ), the Ministry of Defence (Finance) has approved transfer/posting on promotion of these officers, as per details in the Annexure to this letter. 2. Accordingly, the officers may be relieved of their present duties with directions to report in the new office of posting to assume promotion. The promotion shall take effect from the date of assumption of charge. Before relief of the officer, it may be ensured that no disciplinary case is pending against him/her and he/she is not under suspension. 3. TA/joining time as admissible under the rules may be authorized. 4. The date of relief/joining of the officer(s) may please be informed to this HQrs. office immediately through fax and copies of Part II Office Order/Office Order notifying the relief/joining may be sent separately to this HQrs. office.
