COMPANY PROFLE Power Finance Corporation Ltd.(pFC) was inco~porated under the Companies Act, 1956, on 16 1h July, 1986 and was. declared Public Financial nstitution under Section (a) of the Companies Act, PFC has been registered with RB as Non~Banking Financial Company - nfrastructure Finance Company (NBFC-ND-FC). PFC has been conferred the status of Navratna PSU by Government of ndia in June, ' The paid up capital as on July, 2015 is ~ Crores out of which Government of ndia's share holding is 72.80% as on March, 20 S. PFC has 22 subsidiaries including SPVs established for Ultra Mega Power Projects/ndependent Transmission Projects.
