This scholarship program will select one thousand students this year who choose one of the six graduate majors: engineering, education, library science, math, public health and science. Students are eligible to be considered if the are African American, African Indian/Alaska Native, Asian Pacific Islander American or Hispanic American. They must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities. Applicants must meet the Pell Grant eligibility criteria. Eligibility for Federal Pell Grant can only be determined through the submission of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid Programs). GE-REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: Deadline: January. This organization raises funds to support breast cancer research, resources and services on Long Island. The Walk to Fight Breast Cancer Scholarship provides a one-time

4 grant of $2,500 to a full-time graduating senior who has applied and been accepted to a two- or four-year college or university, trade or vocational school.
