16 Volunteers Several groups of volunteers came to ask questions and offered their contribution and support
17 Great Ending More than 60 interested participants attended the event from 8 through 12. They took a Saturday morning away from their families to support the chapter formation initiave
18 Committee Formation Volunteer Meeting During the afternoon we had a meeting with 24 volunteers that are willing to support directly the community grow and the chapter formation
19 Leaders Chair: Rubén Torres President of construction company Torres, arquitect, master in project management, professor in Unitec College Honduras Liaison: Alejandro Paredes CEO Consultant Firm P&A Consultores, college professor in Honduras and Costa Rica, Phd candidate and Master in Project Management.
20 Committee Formation Steering Committee The steering team is ready to start contact with PMI to go through the gate formation process Alejandro Paredes, Joselin Zelaya, Zelma Membreño Sandra Pérez, Rubén Torres Max Landa, Eugenia Elvir, Claudia Hernández, Jary Torres, Marco Martínez Carlos Handal, Rossell Martinez, José Guerra, Omar Zepeda, José Molina.
21 Certification Committee Rossell Martinez, Osman Amaya, Marco Martinez José Molina, José Guerra A group of volunteers were nominated to arrange for certification support to candidates. They will work with the mentor to set up a PBT date to allow candidates to take the PMP certification test.

23 Special Events Committe Zelma Membreño, Sandra Pérez, Juan de Dios Fajardo, Eugenia Elvir While the Chapter is in its way, a third group was nominated to plan and execute activities ities and events ents that will keep interest high and will deliver value to PMI members
24 Conclusions Honduras is in need of the support from PMI to impact their society with better business results with Project Management. There is an important group of leaders, volunteers and sponsors willing to contribute to the chapter with branches formation Four committees were set up and from now on they will need mentorship and support from GOC to create their MYBP and comply with other requirements for Chapter chartering. It is expected to have an Honduras PMI Chapter with Branches by 2009.
