2 It is essential to detect the existing deficiencies in Mental Health system, to respond to the changing needs of the group.

3 Presentation There seems to be a need for urgent action to improve the psychiatric, psychological and social care of people with Mental Health problems. In general, we have the perception that these are old problems, for which we have to find new solutions based on initiatives that can be developed in the future. Therefore we will review some initiatives already developed at European, national and regional level in an attempt to analyze these experiences and see what applicability they may have in the field of Mental Health. It is not possible to speak of health without taking into account Mental Health in conditions of parity, it is essential to detect the existing deficiencies in this area to respond to the changing needs that occur in this group of patients, their families and society.
