2 Reports Dr. McLean invited everyone to the District Office Annual Open House Thursday, December 17, 2015; 9:00 3:00pm. Dr. McLean thanked everyone at the district office for their participation in the Open House. Dr. McLean reported on the CSBA Conference. Dr. McLean stated she had a great time making flip books and attending the trade show. Dr. McLean reported on the Arvin Christmas Parade. Dr. McLean presented the School Board Recognition Proclamation to each of the board members. Dr. McLean reported on the process the district had to follow in the demolition of the Migrant Building. Mrs. Pichardo shared her experience at the CSBA Conference. Mrs. Pichardo stated the conference was nice and had a lot of valuable information that the district could implement. Mr. Arvizu thanked the district and board members for allowing him to attend the CSBA Conference. Communications from the public At this time, Mrs. Rubio announced the opportunity for public comment regarding items not on the agenda. 7 On motion of Mr. Arvizu, seconded by Mrs. Rivera, the board unanimously approved to table item 8.5 for the January board meeting. Item 8.5 Tabled Anabel Rubio James Arvizu Geri Rivera Toni Pichardo Organizational Meeting On motion of Mrs. Rivera, seconded by Mrs. Pichardo, to nominate Mrs. Pichardo as Board Of Trustees President for It said, motion failed for a lack of a majority and the item be carried over until the next meeting. The president would continue to preside until the next board meeting and elections.
