Mst have stdied Engish as a f paper at the 10+2 or eqivaent programme. 3. Mst have secred the minimm marks at the 10+2 or eqivaent programme as prescribed by the Facty Board or camps concerned. 4. Mst satisfy any other entry reqirements or criteria as prescribed by the Facty Board or the camps. The tota instrctiona hors in an academic year wi be 615 (150 day *4:10hors a day). For corses reqiring fied and practica works, additiona hors of stdy wi be reqired. 3. A paper of 100 marks wi have 150 ectres each of 50 mintes. However for practica works, extra casshors wi be reqired as fixed by the Facty Board. 4. There wi be a minimm of five periods (i.e cass hors) each teaching day. The campses rnning morning or evening shifts wi aso be reqired to meet this minimm cass reqirement. Admission Test The Facty of Management (FOM) sha condct a Centra Management Admission Test (CMAT) for the MBS programme. 8 5. Thesis and Project Work Stdents opting thesis or project reports are encoraged to write their thesis or project reports within the seected speciaization area. Thesis : Ony those stdents who have passed a corses of the first year programme sha be aowed to write the thesis. The thesis has to be written nder the direct spervision of a facty member of the camps \ department. Evaation of the thesis sha be based on the written part (75 marks ) and viva-voce (25 marks ). The evaation of the written part of the thesis sha be condcted throgh two externa examiners. Stdents shod sbmit three copies of the thesis to the camps\ department for evaation.the concerned camps\ department shod sbmit two copies of the thesis of the office of the Dean, Facty of management for externa evaation. Viva-voce of the thesis sha be condcted in the respective campses by a pane of experts composed of Chairperson of the Research Department,thesis spervisor, and one externa examiner to be appointed by the office of the Dean. Both in the evaations of the written part and viva-voce of the thesis, the average of the marks awarded by the experts wi be fina. Project Work: Stdents who opt for project work sha have to work on two assignments dring the second year programme on topics approved by the concerned department. Gradation Reqirements The MBS programme extends to two academic year. The MBS degree is awarded on its sccessf competion.
