Bharati Vidyapeeth, the parent organization of this University has recenty ceebrated its Goden Jubiee. Five decades ago Bharati Vidyapeeth initiated its academic journey with a singe schoo. Now it is one of the premier educationa institutions in the country, having under its umbrea more than 180 educationa units incuding 80 coeges of 12 facuties. They incude coeges of Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy, Hote Management and the ike. There may not be any discipines either conventiona or emerging for which Bharati Vidyapeeth has not estabished its institution. Within a short period of 20 years or so, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) has estabished its academic reputation even across the nationa borders. Its high eve of academic exceence is underscored by the fact that the Ministry of Human Resource Deveopment, Government of India has given 'A' grade status to this University. The University's another remarkabe achievement is that it has been re-accredited with prestigious 'A+' grade by NAAC. An approva by the UGC under Section 12B of its Act which our University has received is another feather in the cap of the University. The Coege has 50-intake capacity for B.Sc., 30 for P.B. B.Sc. and 25 for M.Sc. Nursing. The Coege has exceent infrastructure & is equipped with Nursing Arts, Materna and Chid heath Nursing, Community Heath Nursing, Computer, and Nutrition aboratories, and a departmenta ibrary. Since we have our own Medica Coege in the same campus, our students get exposure to the teaching of senior facuty from the coege. Students aso have access to the Medica & denta Coege ibrary in the same campus, which has a very vast coection of reference books. Nursing course is designed in the same way as those of other we-known universities and is in accordance with the guideines of Indian Nursing Counci and has an approva of Maharashtra Nursing Counci and Indian Nursing Counci. PRCEDURE AND RULES FR ADMISSIN 1. Entrance Test - Genera Instructions, terms and conditions 1.1 M. Sc. Nursing 2018 is a ranking examination for admission to M. Sc. Nursing Post Graduate programmes for academic session. 1.2 Appicant may kindy note that mere appearance in the entrance test and incusion of name in the merit ist does not confer any automatic rights to secure admission to the programme offered by the institute. The seection and admission to the programme is subject to fufiing the admission criteria, eigibiity, any such criteria as may be prescribed by the University and avaiabiity of seats to the particuar programme and institute at the time of counseing. 1.3 Appications of candidates producing fase or fabricated information wi not be considered 1.4 Before initiating registration process, candidates shoud go through the Information brochure carefuy for eigibiity criteria, and pattern of examination etc. The information brochure sha be avaiabe at Incompete onine appication, if not in accordance with instructions, wi not be considered and processed. Nursing Programme shoud fufi the minimum eigibiity condition as stated in point no. 3 above. 4.2 He/She must have appeared for the ET M.Sc. Nursing 2018 Test, conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune at designated centres. 4.3 The Candidate sha be offered admission on the basis of his/her rank in the fina merit ist and avaiabiity of the seats for a particuar programme at a particuar Institute of the candidate's choice at the time of counseing and admission in the concerned Institute. 4.4 In the case of candidates securing equa aggregate marks their reative rank wi be determined on the basis of foowing order of preference: a) First preference to the Candidates obtaining higher marks in B. Sc. Nursing fina year examination. b) If equa, the candidates wi be ranked according to their percentage of marks obtained at HSC or its equivaent examination. c) If equa, the candidates wi be ranked according to their percentage of marks scored at SSC or its equivaent examination d) When a the above scores are the same, the candidates wi be ranked on the basis of computerized random numbering. 5. NATURE F ENTRANCE TEST "E.T. (M. Sc. Nursing)-2018 The entrance test E.T. ( M. Sc. Nursing )-2018 for admission to M. Sc. Nursing Programme wi consist of in a 100 marks. The E.T. ( M. Sc. Nursing)-2018 wi consists of one question paper, set in Engish and wi contain 100 mutipe choice objective-type questions. They wi be set on the topics in the B.Sc. Nursing Course Syabus. It consists of 100 mutipe choice questions, one mark each with four aternatives, with ony one correct or most appropriate answer. ne Mark wi be awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking. 6. ENTRANCE TEST SCHEDULE AND ADMIT CARDS: The entrance test E.T. (M. Sc. Nursing)-2018 wi be conducted on 17th June 2018 from a.m. to 1.00 p.m. The candidates have to be present at the centre of the examination at a.m. positivey. Admit card wi be avaiabe onine to candidates after successfuy fiing up the onine appication form and payment of the entrance test fee. Candidates are required to downoad and print a copy of the admit card. Candidates MUST bring the foowing documents to the test centre - (a) Printed copy of Admit Card (b) Any one of the authorized photo IDs (must be origina, vaid and non-expired): Aadhaar Card /PAN card/driving icense/voter ID/Passport. He/She must ensure that the circe is competey darkened with HB Penci/bue/back ba point pen ony. A ighty or fainty darkened circe is a wrong method of marking and wi be rejected by the ptica Scanner. If the candidate does not want to attempt any particuar question, he/she is advised not to touch any of the circes given against that question. However, it may be noted that there is no negative marking for seecting the wrong response. The candidate must not fod the answer sheet and shoud not make any stray marks on it. A specimen copy of the answer sheet is given at Annexure II. Candidates are advised to go through it and get conversant with it. Changing An Answer If a candidate wants to change any answer marked by him/her on the answer sheet, he/she must competey erase the existing penci/bue/back ba point pen mark and then darken the appropriate circe with HB Penci/bue/back ba point pen. Candidate must not eave any visibe mark in the circe after erasing. therwise the response wi be rejected by the optica mark scanner. Such erasing shoud be avoided as far as possibe.
