2 Single sign-on (SSO) What is it? Single sign-on through Office 365 uses one username and one password to access your computer and many applications, such as , calendar, SharePoint, Kronos, RemedyForce, Mimecast and others. Improvements continue to be made to reduce the number of passwords you need to remember and how you access the applications you use every day. More applications will continue to be added to SSO. Office 365 shortcut is changing! The Office 365 shortcut will have a name change and a change to what will be displayed when you first log in. The name will be changing to MyApps. Instead of opening directly into , it will open to a web page with applications that you have permission to use through the Office 365 SSO such as , calendar, SharePoint, Kronos, RemedyForce, Mimecast and others. Individual shortcuts will be removed for these same applications from your computer desktop to clean up the clutter. Self-service password reset Over the next few weeks, you will see a new functionality rolled out. This will enable you to change your password or unlock your account, without having to contact the IT Help Desk. We hope this new function will make your work day easier when you have issues with your password. What s Next? Keep checking your for updates on these exciting changes! Remember, it is very important to log out of any open applications or lock the computer screen before you walk away from the computer device you are using. This will keep others who do not have your same permissions from accessing private or restricted information. For computer related issues contact the IT Help Desk at , ext or helpdesk@masonicvillages.org. Running and Walking Local Events Starting a running program is a great way to improve your health and well-being - and it s easy! All you need to do is put on some shoes and go! You may want to ease into it to avoid injury and gain confidence. Join the Masonic Village Running or Walking Club, or choose from a list of training programs at the level right for you. Register for a walk or running race, and give yourself 6-12 weeks to prepare. Contact Lydia Greinermiller at the Baird Wellness Center at ext to help you achieve your goals. On Sat., April 14, there will be an event at Masonic Village: Knock Out Parkinson's Disease 5K Run/Walk. For more information about this event, click on this link. Additional running and walking local events can be found on the Intranet.

4 Congratulations! The annual Flyswatter Madness tournament was played on March with 10 resident teams and eight employee teams. The road to victory was hard fought, but included a lot of good humor and laughing. Many matches had nail biting finishes that came down to the last swat! Clinching the 2018 champion resident title was the Blue Birds and the staff champions are from the Finance Services team, "The Fundangos!" Pictured (sitting, left - right): Michelle Torzewski, accounts receivable coordinator; Natasha Buitrago, medical assistance coordinator; and Kelly Musser, billing support specialist. Thanks to all the teams and players for another fantastic Flyswatter Madness Tournament. See you again in March 2019 for some more MADNESS!
