3 Guideline for abstracts and papers prepared for the 37 th CAAPS Convention on July 29 th, 2012 in New York (Times 14, bold, centered) A. Firstauthor 1, B. Secondauthor 1, C. Thirdauthor 2, D. Use Times New Roman font, 11 pt. Justified left and right. For title, authors name and affiliations, margins are 2.5 cm left and 2.5 cm right and for summary 3.5 cm left and right. 1. General (Times 12, regular) Contributed papers must be in English or Chinese. The total length, including figures and references and a short bio (include a 2 4 photo) of the presenter, is two A4 format page. The authors are responsible for the content and style of the contribution and should submit it in a word document file so that any necessary editing may be carried out by the Conference organizers. Contributed papers which do not conform to the format described below may be rejected. Each abstract should be submitted separately in electronic form to the respective session organizer: All contributed papers will be refereed by the session organizer and chairperson. A book of proceedings, containing accepted abstracts will be distributed to the participants on their arrival to the conference site. Deadline for submission of two page abstracts is x, 2012! 2. Recommendations for the text 2.1. Format For invited and contributed papers, the abstract should be typewritten for A4 format paper, using one column Times New Roman font (exactly according to the present template). Margins are: Top, Bottom: 2.5 cm; Left and Right: 2 cm. Fonts must be: Title: Times 14, Bold, centered. Authors names: Times 12, normal, centered. Affiliations: Times 11, Italic, centered. Main text: Times 12, regular, justified in left and right. Figure and table captions: Times 11, regular, centered Headings (Times 12, bold) are placed flush on the left-hand margin on a separate line Figures, tables and equations Abstracts may include figures and tables. A caption should be attached to each of them. The captions are shown here:

Short Bio of the Presenter 主講人 Speaker Dr. Shiang-Kwei Wang (王向葵博士) (PhD, University of Georgia) is an Associate Professor of the Masterof Science in Instructional Technology Program at the New York Institute of Technology. Her professional interests are in the areas of technology integration in K-12 learning settings, the motivational impact of information and communication technologies on learning attitude and performance, as well as using technology to support online learning. Dr. Wang was recently awarded with National Science Foundation grant to support her research to prepare teachers to use technology in science classrooms. Her articles have been published in Educational Technology Research & Development, Journal of Online Interactive Learning, and TechTrend. Her web site address is
