2 DAIA ANNUAL AND EVENT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES The Demolition & Asbestos Industry Association (Qld) Inc. ( DAIA ) was incorporated in 2006, has an extensive membership list comprising small to medium businesses and larger corporate enterprises from across the demolition, asbestos removal and resource recovery sector, as well as associated industry businesses such as equipment suppliers, associated trade services, training providers and green waste contractors. Our members are mainly from the greater Brisbane area but include the South East Queensland, reaches of Toowoomba, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, but also include North Queensland. Our primary aims are: assisting members to keep up-to-date with relevant industry and business issues; promoting safe work practices; encouraging minimisation of landfill through increased recycling of valuable resources; lobbying for legislative change to protect people, resources and the environment; and education of members and the general public about asbestos awareness and the benefits of recycling. DAIA members are decision makers within their organisations and are responsible for, amongst other items, the following: Finance Purchase of equipment Human Resources Risk Management Governance Accreditation We are pleased to provide information on Annual and Event Sponsorship opportunities for your consideration and would be pleased to discuss any of the options listed or develop other partnership initiatives. 3 The opportunity exists for companies to invest in annual sponsorship with DAIA for the period of one year. At the completion of the year, companies will have the opportunity to renew the sponsorship. Annual sponsorship is not exclusive, should your company wish to be an exclusive annual sponsor for DAIA, one exclusive to an industry sector can be considered. Annual Sponsorship Annual Investment - $ 3,500 As an Annual Sponsor, your Company will be offered the following opportunities: Membership of DAIA for one membership year. A list of all DAIA members will be provided every 6 months. Acknowledgement of sponsorship, with logo, on all DAIA s sent for the year. Every 6 months sponsors will be acknowledged and thanked in a specific to DAIA members. Acknowledgement of sponsorship, with logo, on the DAIA home page website and linked to the sponsor website. Company profile on DAIA Website Sponsors page, linked to sponsors website. The opportunity to address Member Information Forum attendees for 20 minutes at all of the Information Forums during the year as mutually agreed and arranged prior to the Forums. Acknowledgement of annual sponsorship during the opening and closing of member events. Exhibition table at any of the Member Information Forums held during the year, including display of your company banner (sponsor to supply, assemble and remove banner). Complimentary access to all Member Information Forum s for two people for one year from date of commencement. Opportunity to send to DAIA members about your company (information to be provided) DAIA will like Sponsor s Facebook page and share with members. To ensure important posts are shared, open communication with Secretariat. Certificate of Sponsorship provided for display. The Sponsor would be encouraged to establish an incentive program for DAIA members.

4 The opportunity is available for Companies to invest as an Event sponsor for one or more DAIA events. Event Sponsorship Event Investment for Members - $ 300 Event sponsors will be offered the following opportunities: Acknowledgement of sponsorship, with logo, on all flyers and notices for the event. Acknowledgement of sponsorship during the opening and closing of the event. Acknowledgement of event sponsorship in the promotion of the event and website for one month. Exhibition table at the sponsored event, with complimentary attendance for two people. The opportunity to address the event attendees for 10 minutes at the event. Display a company banner at the front of the presentation room at the event. (sponsor to supply, assemble and remove banner) Event Investment for Non-Members - $ 600 Event sponsors will be offered the following opportunities: Acknowledgement of sponsorship, with logo, on all flyers and notices for the event. As above, plus one year s membership.
