2 Message from the CEO The Australian Institute of Training and Development (AITD) is extremely proud of our annual Excellence Awards program which recognises achievements in training, learning and organisational development. The Excellence Awards attract diverse participants including large multinational corporations, small businesses, government departments and agencies, vendors and consultants and extraordinary individuals drawn from all industries. 3 AITD Excellence Awards Since 2002 AITD has recognised achievement in training, learning and organisational development through an annual awards program. Over the years, the awards categories have expanded to reflect current trends in learning and development. Entrants are required to submit an application. Independent judges assess the applications and determine whether the nominees are Finalists, Highly Commended or the Winner. Winners are announced at a Gala Dinner held in November each year attended by Finalists and their colleagues. Target Audience AITD has approximately 2000 members across Australia. AITD members include trainers, educators, consultants, coaches, course coordinators, mentors, instructors, teachers, facilitators, designers and assessors. As the peak membership association for learning and development professionals, these awards are highly regarded and sought after. AITD reach is far broader than our membership, with almost 5000 subscribers to our enewsletter, and hundreds of people attending our courses and events each year.

10 Awards Sponsorship Terms and Conditions 1. AITD refers to The Australian Institute of Training and Development. 2. Sponsor refers to any person, firm, company or corporate and its employees and agents identified in the Booking Form. 3. A signed Booking Form must be received to secure sponsorship of the AITD Awards. 4. A contract is formed between AITD and Sponsor when AITD accepts the Booking Form signed by the Sponsor. 5. AITD may cancel the contract at their discretion if the agreed payment is not received within 14 days of signed Booking Form. 6. The Sponsor must ensure all accounts are finalised and paid on invoice. Booking Forms received on or after 1 October 2016 will be required to make full payment immediately. 7. AITD reserves the right to refuse application or prohibit any Sponsor from involvement without a reason. 8. AITD may in its absolute discretion, determine to relocate, postpone or reschedule the Awards Ceremony Dinner. 9. AITD reserves the right to cancel the contract by returning the agreed payment. 10. AITD reserves the right to disapprove the content and presentation of the Sponsor advertising or program material. 11. The Sponsor acknowledges that AITD collects the information on the Booking Form for the purposes of processing the booking, making credit enquiries, keeping the Sponsor informed about upcoming event, membership services and assisting in improving AITD service to the Sponsor. 12. The Sponsor acknowledges that delegate lists are not provided as the part of any Awards sponsorship agreement. 13. AITD will not provide discount or credit to late Sponsorship booking should marketing opportunities outlined in this prospectus lapse. Sponsor will not be compensated for marketing opportunities that have already passed at the time of booking. 14. All artwork, advertisements, corporate literature and delegate information must be received by due dates. AITD takes no responsibility for late or incorrect artwork material submissions. 15. Sponsors are not excluded from entering the AITD Awards, however it is acknowledged that sponsorship will not have any influence on the judging of the Awards.
