Be sure to wear your name badge at all times. You will be required to wear it to get into educational sessions and the Exhibit Hall. For security purposes, children are not allowed in the Exhibit Hall. ADMISSION TO WSET FUNCTIONS Unaltered name badges are required for admittance into all WSET functions, including the Exhibit Hall, all ticketed events, and educational programs. For further assistance or if you have special dietary needs, please visit the WSET Registration Desk. MEMBERS AND FIRST TIME ATTENDEES Welcome! Thank you for joining us in Seattle for the WSET 2018 Annual Conference. Membership is now open. Follow the link to renew or become a first time WSET member. Dues are paid according to the calendar year. Dues payments made after October 1 will apply through December the following year PLEASE NOTE: Member discount rates for the 2018 Annual Meeting will apply for 2018 membership dues paid October 1, 2017 through March 2, ATTIRE Business casual attire is strongly encouraged. Please dress comfortably to create the best learning environment. The March daily high in Seattle is 55 degrees. temperatures at night average around 42 degrees, and no surprise it is typically raining. Please note, the meeting rooms may be cooler than expected. We suggest dressing in layers and bring a light jacket or sweater to keep you comfortable. CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS ASET-CEU s will be awarded to participants completing the program evaluations, which also serve as documentation for ASET CEU s. It is important to CLEARLY write your Name, , and ASET ID Number on the Course Sign-Up Sheets each day, this will make it easier for WSET to upload your CEU s for your transcript shortly after the meeting. Not an ASET member, no worries WSET will your certificate with the CEU s you completed. If you are not an ASET Member, it is your responsibility to upload the CEU s to your transcript. See ASETs website for instructions. Please allow WSET days to process this information ASET CEU s will be awarded for Friday Courses, 5.75 credits for Saturday Courses, and 6 credits for Sunday Courses. The IONM Workshop will be awarded 5.75 ASET CEU s and the two day EEG Board Prep will total credits. You can earn a total of 17.5 CEU s with a full 3 day registration. Such crediting should not be construed by program participants as an endorsement of anytype instruments or supplies mentioned or involved in the presentation. CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE Certificates documenting your attendance will be ed to you days after the end of the meeting. ELECTRONIC DEVISES In consideration of our speakers and attendees, please silence all electronic devices or set them to vibrate during educational sessions. If it is necessary for you to use your cell phone, please step outside the meeting room to avoid disrupting the other attendees. WSET ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING LUNCHEON Friday March 16 12:00 noon -1:30 p.m. The Annual Business Meeting Luncheon is an important event not to be missed. This is your opportunity to hear about the state of affairs of WSET and bring up any new business before the Society. Hear the annual reports of the WSET President and Treasurer and witness the the installation of the newly elected trustees to the WSET Board. All members are invited to attend and the event is included in the conference registration fee, but only WSET members in good standing of the Society attending the meeting will constitute the voting body. 03

A 40-foot tall, glass and steel structure covering 4,500 square feet of light-filled space, the Glasshouse is the result of Chihuly s lifelong appreciation for conservatories. The installation in the Glasshouse is an expansive 100-foot long sculpture in a color palette of reds, oranges, yellows and amber. Made of many individual elements, it is one of Chihuly s largest suspended sculptures. The perception of the artwork varies greatly with natural light and as the day fades into night.
