There is a prayer group at St. Charles addressing the problem of fallen-away Catholics. The Friends of St. Monica Prayer Group offers prayers for people to return to the Catholic Church. The devotion begins with the St. Monica Novena and the recitation of the Holy Rosary. LITTLE FLOWER HOLY HOUR The Holy Hour for Vocations to the Priesthood and the Sanctification of Priests will be held at the St. Mother Theodore Guerin Chapel, on Tuesday, June 3, 7:00 p.m. Rev. 6 ASCENSION OF THE LORD JUNE 1, 2014 SCRIP NEWS Schedule Reminder: With school out, we are now on our summer schedule. Friday sales move to 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. All other schedules stay the same. If you have special order items, they need to be ordered no later than 9:00 a.m. on Mondays. Credit Statements: With May coming to a close, it marks the end of the first period for SCRIP credit. The credit statements will be processed in June and ready for distribution about the 3 rd week of June, (watch the bulletin for the announcement.) Once they are ready, statements can be picked up at the SCRIP sales table during any of the sales times or at the SCRIP office during office hours. Unclaimed statements will be sent home with students when school begins in August. If you are planning to use your credit for tuition before that date, please pick it up at your earliest convenience. Using Land s End: We are sad to say that Land s End gift cards are no longer accepted at Sears or K-Mart. There have been a few situations where unknowing clerks at these stores advised patrons differently, but they were wrong. We will carry Sears as needed but are hesitant to stock it in large quantities with the future of the Sears Corporation in question.
