Their 2016, 3 1/2 week concert tour covers 7500 miles from coast to coast including performances in New Jersey, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, and California. CONGRATULATIONS TO ISAAC HENRY St. Charles 7th Grader Isaac represented St. Charles in this year s state science fair! Isaac was selected to participate in the annual Hoosier Science and Engineering Fair with his project, Does the Center of Gravity of a Golf Ball Affect the Straightness of the Roll? He was interviewed by 10 judges, and achieved the David W. Ford STEM Award for grade 4-8 division. This included an award certificate and $100.00! St. Charles is proud of Isaac s effort and engineering ingenuity! St. Michael the Archangels s Harvest House of Waterloo, IN is the local host for the celebration of Older Americans Day on Thursday, June 9. The celebration will begin with Mass at 11:30 a.m. followed by dinner and entertainment. Anyone over 50 is invited and you are encouraged to bring your friends. PERPETUAL ADORATION CHAPEL St. Jude Parish has a Perpetual Adoration Chapel, a quiet place of prayer, which is open 24 hours a day. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Kroger Update - Our first quarter report for 2016 showed that St. Charles has 213 Kroger Plus Cards linked to St. Charles and we received a check for $3, We'd like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who have linked your Kroger Plus Card to St. Charles in the Kroger Community Rewards program. We appreciate that you have been willing to sign up for this program even though you receive no personal compensation. The profit the parish earns each quarter is a direct reflection of your generosity. We encourage those of you who shop at Kroger and have not signed up for this program to do so; it costs you nothing. Our quarterly reward is based solely on the purchases of our enrolled participants. Meijer Bonus: We were able to purchase Meijer gift cards at a 6% credit. Schedule reminders - The SCRIP office is open every day until noon. On Mondays we fill school orders, collection basket orders and phone orders. It's difficult to fill walk-in orders during this process. We encourage you to phone in your order if you need to place an order on a Monday. The order will be ready by early afternoon. On Thursday mornings we verify new inventory and it is, again, difficult to fill walk-in orders before 10:00 a.m. We are happy to fill orders on Thursdays but ask that you phone it in or wait until after 10:00 a.m. On Friday mornings we have sales in the Hession Center from 8-9 am during the school season and 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. during the summer. Following the sales we are in the SCRIP office and input our sales information and balance. If you are unable to visit us during our sales hour, we encourage you to place your order by phone.
