Father McAlear is an internationally known priest with the charism of healing. Anointing of the Sick will be available and confessions will be heard before and after Mass. The winners of the Holy Name Golf Scramble were Mike Starowitz, Edgar, Jon and Brendan Lougheed with a 9-hole Calloway adjusted score of 30. The winners of the RED BALL were Mark Gerhardy, Jim and Ted Darocha with a Calloway adjusted score of 30. THE LADIES OF CHARITY will meet October 9th. We will begin at 6:00 pm with a Mass for Jennifer Holbrook and other deceased Ladies of Charity. Mass with be followed by our regular October meeting. Come pray with us. RECYCLED TEENS: Next event is Thursday Oct. 19th Karen Hall from the Office of the Aging will speak to us about senior medical fraud. We will have lunch at Eagles Restaurant in Brockport. ST. BRIGID S ANNUAL COAT DRIVE: Time to start your Fall cleaning? We would love to share your gently used coats that you no longer need with people who will really appreciate them this winter. We are welcoming children's coats as well. Last year we donated a record 93 coats (along with knit or crocheted scarfs that our Yarn Group had created). Bins will be in the back of our church the last two week ends in October and Thank you for your contributions. MINISTRY SCHEDULE: The Ministry Schedule for November and December is in progress. If you are not available during that time and need to make changes, please contact the appropriate volunteer and let them know. Thanks! THE LADIES OF CHARITY are sponsoring a food drive for the Backpack Program at Byron-Bergen Schools. (This program is run by the Byron Presbyterian Church.). Food is distributed to local children in need. Tags indicating needed food items are available in the back of church and in the church hall. Please leave your donations in the church hall by Sunday, October 22nd. Thank you for your generosity. THE HOLY ROSARY is recited a half hour before each weekend Mass. Saturday Rosary begins at 4:30pm. Sunday Rosary is recited at 8:30am. Please join your fellow parishioners in praying the Rosary.

EXPLORING LOVE BUGS: The Nursery children at Love Bugs Preschool have had a great start to the new school year! Not only have they learned all about their new friends but they have also explored all their surroundings. They visited Mrs. Panepento's classroom and took a walk over to the parish office to meet everyone and play a few games in the gym. On their way back to their classroom they took a minute to play on the playground and then found a spot to make some beautiful chalk art. What a busy few weeks!
