The Adult Choir is open to anyone high school age and up and no experience or musical background is necessary. The Choir is beginning preparations for our next Mass in the Extraordinary Form on Friday, October 6, for the Solemn Mass of the Sacred Heart, as well as Morning Prayer, Benediction and Holy Mass at the completion of the 40 Hours Devotion on Sunday, October 8. 5 SEPT. /OCT. EVENTS Help the Saint Cecilia Pro Life Commission make a Life Chain on Sunday, October 1. Anyone wanting to be a witness for life can gather at the corner of Highways 12 and 13, across from Mexicali Rose, at 12:45 p.m., for prayer and holding of signs as part of a Chain of Witnesses. Our Life Chain will be uniting with other Life Chains from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in communities all over Wisconsin and the United States. Chairs can be used by those who need them. Please stand with us for God s gift of life. RESPECT LIFE COLLECTION Next weekend, Sept. 30/Oct. 1, the Respect Life Collection will be conducted in our Parish. Your help in supporting these collections is critical. Book can be purchased in the Gathering Room of the church. ATTENTION FAITH FORMATION PARENTS Each week, at Faith Formation classes, your student will be asked to participate in the King s Challenge. The challenge is a request to show love for others or to pray for those in need. This week s challenge is: Bring in one food item for the Saint Cecilia Food Pantry. Please remind your student of this weekly challenge. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR FAITH FORMATION CLASSES BIBLE STUDY Begins Monday, October 2 (New date) 2:00 OR 6:30 P.M. 13 Sessions - $25.00 The Pivotal Players are: St. Francis of Assisi, the Reformer St. Thomas Aquinas, the Theologian St. Catherine of Siena, the Mystic Blessed John Henry Newman, the Convert G.K. 7 27 November 5 Prayer, Fasting, & Presence Please join the Saint Cecilia Pro-Life Prayer Warriors and the Saint Cecilia Knight Shift in the 40 Days for Life peaceful prayer vigil to end abortion at the Planned Parenthood facility in Madison. Carpool rides are available through the duration of the campaign. All ages are welcome to pledge an hour or two or just join each week.
