2 Welcome to Weber! Besides the many fall programs we have to enrich you, we now also offer a special place of solitude and beauty. Welcome to INAI: A Space Apart. INAI is a Japanese word meaning within or inside and was the name Sisters Barb Chenicek, OP, and Rita Schlitz, OP, gave to Sister Suzanne Schreiber, OP the building where they designed their awardwinning sacred spaces. With gratitude and reverence for the great work of Barb and Rita, a small committee has been working on repurposing the INAI building. From these discussions, a reading room, a meditation room, and an art gallery have been created. Since this building sits adjacent to Weber, our hope is that those who use Weber for retreats and gatherings, as well as the campus and the broader community, will find in this new space a place of quiet, beauty, and learning. The modest exterior of INAI, left, belies the beauty of the interior art gallery, above, and quiet spaces. Sister Suzanne Schreiber, OP, an artist in her own right, is guiding the development of this new space. INAI is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Watch Weber Center s website, webercenter.org, for exhibit information. 2
