Rosarian Looks Forward to New Head of School in West Palm Beach, Florida - The community of Rosarian Academy has much to look forward to in the next academic year, when Stephen Rubenacker joins them as the new Head of School. Mr. Rubenacker will join Rosarian from the prestigious Friends Academy on Long Island, New York, where he served as principal, administrator, teacher and coach over the last 13 years. Read more.

Learners and Tutors Develop Lasting Friendships Detroit, Michigan - Learners and tutors sometimes build strong friendships lasting beyond their time at Siena Literacy Center. Roderick recently completed the program at Siena. For the entire time he was here, he had the same tutor, Barbara. They each wrote their thoughts about the past - and the future. Read more. As you can imagine, we are especially excited about that ranking and the high score we received in student engagement. Read More. Wilmette, Illinois - Students from several all-girl high schools across the Chicagoland area will gather at Regina Dominican on Monday, March 9, to view the documentary, "The Empowerment Project: Extraordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things." This film, which is co-produced by IndieFlix, tells the story of the incredible journey of five female filmmakers driving across America to encourage, empower, and inspire the next generation of strong women to go after their career ambitions. Giving Lives Back: St. Rose Dominican's Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Henderson, Nevada - When Josh Estrada woke at his home in Henderson, Nevada, in the middle of the night unable to walk, paramedics rushed him to St. Rose Dominican's St. Rose de Lima Campus. After spending two weeks in the hospital getting his health stabilized, the staff of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) took over and helped Josh walk out the front doors. Read more. "The Center's beginnings in 1989 were so humble: only six tutors and a few learners under the stage floor of a high school. Since then the Center has grown, serving over 450 adult learners every year." Read more.
