In addition, you can make your pledge online at DLA.dioceseofgreensburg.org. Sponsor Couples Needed St. Joseph Church is in need of sponsor couples willing to prepare engaged couples for marriage. Becoming a sponsor couple would require one afternoon of training (1:00 PM-4:15 PM with lunch provided) at the Diocesan Center in Greensburg. Eleven 7th and 8th grade students were among the more than 1,000 participants at the Pittsburgh Regional Science and Engineering Fair (PRSEF) held at Heinz Field on March 31. Several MQA students took home awards: Isabella Florian (Grade 8) received a 1st Place Award for her Physics project entitled Loop Diameter vs. Mechanical Energy and Speed. Kira Johnson (Grade 8) received a 3rd Place award for her Chemistry project entitled Got Juice?. Olivia DiNatale (Grade 8) received a 4th Place award for her Chemistry project entitled Electrolyte Up Your Game. Marco Vigilante (Grade 8) competed in the Earth/Space/Environment category and received the NOAA 2017-Taking the Pulse of the Planet Award as well as a 4th Place award for his project entitled Sunscreen...Friend or Foe? Ryan Anderson (Grade 7) competed in the Medicine/Health/Microbiology category and received a 4th Place award for his project entitled The Effect of Temperature on Antibiotics. Will Mason (Grade 7) presented his project entitled Wa-ter You Fishing In?. He received a Sponsor Award from the American Society for Quality for his Earth/Space/Environment project. Reid Watkins (Grade 8) received a collegiate award for excellence for her Medicine/Health/Microbiology project entitled Watch Your Mouth. First Saturday Mass and Devotions In observance of the centennial anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima, the Diocesan Heritage Center will host a series of First Saturday Masses and devotions at the Bishop Connare Center beginning on June 3 and continuing until October. Day begins with Mass at 9:00 AM in the St. Joseph Chapel and followed by a recitation of the rosary. A special exhibit will be open for view after devotions.
