Cancellation Policy Memberships may be cancelled by providing written notification a minimum of 15 days before the next payment date. Requests to cancel cannot be processed by phone and are not permitted while on hold. A $25 cancellation fee applies. Continuous Membership Your YMCA membership automatically renews each month. Child Minding (ages 0-11)** Child Minding is available for up to 90 minutes for family membership holders. Parents/guardians must remain in the facility. Registration can be made up to two days in advance by contacting the Membership Sales & Service Desk in person or by calling Please see program schedule for child minding hours. Conditioning Centre Cardio equipment, selectorized strength cables, free weights, RX, foam rollers, free weights and more. Adaptive equipment also available. Must be minimum age of 12 to access the conditioning centre. eens ages must complete an orientation to access the conditioning centre. Membership Holds Continuous members can put their membership on hold for up to a maximum of six months. Memberships must remain active for a minimum of 90 days prior to submitting additional hold requests. Re-registration for programs such as swim lessons is required. Published membership fees will apply at time of reactivation. Cancellation of membership is not permitted while on hold. Passes are not eligible for hold. Supervision of Children Children under age 12 must be directly supervised by a parent/guardian (16 years of age or over) at all times. Children participating in staff/volunteer led programs (including swim lessons) must be accompanied by their parent/guardian to and from the program and signed in/out by the same parent/guardian. Please note the Aquatics guidelines on page 4. Members and guests with children participating in Child Minding or staff supervised programs (ages 0-5) are required to remain in the facility. Bars & Plates A muscle conditioning class using a barbell and weighted plates. Weights are adjusted during class to provide appropriate resistance for various muscle groups. his class can take your strength and endurance training to new levels. Open Don t sit on the sidelines. Boot Camp his low-choreography mixed impact class offers a challenge for all! Running, speed & agility work, weight training, jump rope, plyometrics and much more come together to create a powerhouse workout. Core Fit Strengthen your core through ab, lower back and glute exercises. his class incorporates a variety of equipment. Core Strength & Stretch Strengthen your core through ab and lower back exercises, finish this class with a total body stretch. Forever Fit his class will take you through gentle movements to music that will improve your strength and flexibility while giving you a gentle cardiovascular workout. Pickle Ball Pickle Ball is a paddle sport that is similar to ping pong but played on a badminton sized court. Suitable for a variety of ages and athletic ability levels. Racquet Sports Play a game of pickle ball and/or badminton. All levels welcome. Supervised. Zumba Zumba is an exciting, high energy class suitable for people of all levels. It uses a combination of dance and aerobics that incorporates salsa, samba, mambo and even belly dancing moves. PAGE 3

Rolling Registration Rolling Registration at the YMCA means any active member's previously held swim lesson will continue after the Summer in the same time slot as before. Note: Lessons will not go ahead on days when all schools are closed due to inclement weather. During lesson break all lesson time slots are swims. Pool Supervision Guidelines Children under age 12 must be directly supervised at all times. he additional guidelines apply to all pools, swims and parties: Children under age 8 must be within arm s reach of a responsible person age 16+ in the water (1:1 or 1:3 in life jackets) Children age 8-11 who can successfully complete the facility swim test (swimmers*) must be supervised by a responsible person age 16+ in the water or on deck (1:8) Children age 8-11 who cannot successfully complete the facility swim test (non-swimmers) must be within arm s reach of a responsible person age 16+ in the water (1:3 or 1:8 in life jackets) * A swimmer is defined as an individual who can jump feet first into deep water, surface and swim 25m without assistance or stopping. Cancellation (Birthday Parties & Courses) Please note that all payment is due at the time of registration. wo weeks' notice is required to withdraw from any courses or to cancel party bookings.
