1 LVCT Health is an established Kenyan NGO that utilizes research to inform policy reform advocacy and strengthen HIV service delivery. We optimize our impact on the HIV/AIDS response by building capacity of partners and pay special attention to vulnerable groups and populations with special needs. Our focus is on the scale-up of quality-assured HIV counseling, testing and care services. We are looking for a dynamic Kenyans, well qualified and motivated individuals to fill the following vacant positions: POSITION: CENTER MANAGER - REPORTING TO: PROGRAM OFFICER, KP LOCATION: KISUMU CM/LVCT/10/2017 The position reports to KP Program Officer. The main purpose of the position is to strategically coordinate the activities of Naselica Drop-in-Center into becoming a Centre of Excellence (COE) in key population programming and successful demonstration of new zero HIV infection in its catchment areas. The incumbent is responsible for managing the center, its staff, and clients, ensures implementation of appropriate service delivery models that are aligned to LVCT Health Vision and Mission, develop and maintain relationships with local administration, key population communities and other stakeholders. Responsibilities Plan, and ensure implementation of comprehensive health services to key populations and their clients through the Centre and Outreach Provide mentorship and supervision of both DICE and Outreach teams Prepare and submit quarterly narrative reports to the Program Officer Manage financial expenditure of the center, ensure that spending is within budget requirements, and cash requisitions and liquidation are timely Oversee the planning and control of maintenance in the centers buildings, equipment and items Develop, plan and maintain effective security controls to ensure the safety of Clients, staff and the property Develop and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including link facilities, key populations community, MOH, law enforcement agencies and other partners Develop and implement monthly work plans and budgets Prepare and submit regular program reports (activity, monthly, quarterly and annual reports) as per requirements of LVCT Health Ensure emerging issues, challenges and other bottlenecks are communicated in a timely manner to the technical team Provide timely communication and feedback to the field staff on project implementation Conduct Weekly/Monthly COE meetings review data, plan activities and address challenges Competencies Communicate effectively across the all levels Ability to develop and motivate staff A strong sense of managing and controlling a business unit Be able to develop and present reports to senior management

2 Knowledge and experience in project management Ability to work under pressure Personal Attributes The incumbent must demonstrate the following personal attributes: Strong management and leadership skills People orientated person/ Counselling & interpersonal skills (ability to understand people s needs) Person who is sensitive to the needs of the community Demonstrate sound work ethics time management skills Qualifications Appropriate bachelor s degree in Clinical medicine. Nursing or similar qualifications Diploma in Business Management, Program Management or social work 5 years working experience with a minimum of 2 years managerial experience Experience in Running a drop in center, facility or a training center Sound knowledge of HIV Prevention programming Good communication Skills and writing, Listening and speaking. POSITION: CLINICAL OFFICERS - REPORTING TO: CARE IN CHARGE LOCATION: KISUMU, MIGORI, KISII CO/LVCT/10/2017 The clinical officer will be a member of the LVCT Health clinical team with the role of providing HIV/AIDS and related treatment services to all patients and clients. The clinical officer will ensure that the optimal standard of care is achieved at the LVCT Health DICE assigned and other outreach services to ensure quality in service provision in line with national guidelines, patient satisfaction and good clinical outcomes KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Clinical management of clients attending the care and treatment clinic and DICES Performing medical consultations for OI s and Antiretroviral therapy (ARVs) for PLWHA and Post exposure prophylaxis for at risk groups Providing adherence counseling and PWP to clients attending the clinic Ensuring that the optimal standard of care is achieved by establishing and maintaining the use of nationally approved clinical guidelines and protocols and with the help of the care manager, updating your knowledge of HIV/AIDs management using evidence based practice History taking and physical examination of clients Counsel clients on compliance to treatment Implementation of clinical aspects of Positive Health Dignity and Prevention program in the care and treatment clinic Ensure Integration of Services within the Prevention Site Timely preparation and submission of Clinic Program Progress Reports. Documentation of program work Take lead in documentation and follow up of clinic clients including TB patients Provide regular feedback/updates to care staff and site in charge on work related concerns Communication to clients on issues that concern them.

3 Continuous mentorship of clinical staff, including nurses and counselors on clinical management of clients Ensure participation and contribution to capacity building of clinical and other staff through CMEs, Sensitization and Updates Provide information, education and communication to clients and their families in the clinic through support groups, health talks and educational materials like pamphlets Support delivery of other clinical duties (e.g. triage, nutrition) when required Support in delivery of outreach services including STI diagnosis and treatment for general and at risk populations. Up to date record keeping and management of clients data Diploma in Clinical Medicine/Surgery from a recognized Medical College A registered member with the clinical officer s council At least three (3) years work experience in a busy Comprehensive Care Clinic or relevant sector Must be trained in Adult and Pediatric ART from National Aids control council (NASCOP) Kenya Knowledge of key populations and DICE service delivery would be an added advantage Good understanding of HIV in Kenya environment Experience in working with the Government of Kenya guidelines, standards, tools and best practices Good data management and report writing skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Experience in clinical mentorship or support supervision in MOH settings will be an added advantage Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or any other source POSITION: NURSES REPORTING TO: DICE IN CHARGE LOCATION: KISUMU, HOMABAY, MIGORI NR/LVCT/10/2017 To provide HIV/AIDS and related treatment services at the LVCT Health clinic or DICE as a member of the clinical team. The Nurse will ensure adherence to the highest standards of care in the clinic and provide preventive, curative, rehabilitative and supportive nursing care to individuals, families or groups and participate in health promotion. The Nurse will also play an instrumental role in ensuring infection prevention practices are maintained and nursing services are optimal. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Carrying out initial assessment and triage of all patients attending the clinic and instituting a fast track system in line with the standard operating procedure Performing clinical consultations for clients attending the care and treatment clinic under the supervision of the Clinical Officer and/or Medical Officer

4 Offer clinical services to key populations and other clients at DICES and Outreaches as may be required Provision of sexual reproductive health services to clients and ensure effective referrals Ensuring implementation of infection prevention and control guidelines in the clinic Provide regular feedback/updates to care staff and site in-charge on work related concerns Ensuring timely compilation and submission of all clinical reports as required Undertaking regular documentation of program activities and outcomes through technical briefs, abstracts and best practice documentation Leadership in documentation of index client follow up through Partner and Family testing Providing information, education and communication to clients and their families in the clinic through support groups, health talks or educational materials like pamphlets Supporting in delivery of other clinical duties (e.g. nutrition, adherence) when required. Supporting in delivery of outreach services including STI diagnosis and treatment for general and at risk populations. Up to date record keeping and management of clients data Support in submission of reports to relevant authorities in a timely manner Diploma in Nursing Registered Nurse At least three (3) years work experience in relevant sectors Good understanding of HIV in Kenya environment Good knowledge in Nutrition Experience in Maternal Child Health and Family Planning Experience in working with the Government of Kenya guidelines, standards, tools and best practices Good data management and report writing skills Good communication and interpersonal skills POSITION: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT/ RECEPTIONIST - ADM/LVCT/10/2017 REPORTING TO: SNR. HR & ADMIN OFFICER LOCATION: KISUMU To manage the main reception area and support in administration services KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the face of the organization at the front office Manage all incoming and outgoing mails, both physical and electronic and directing them to the appropriate persons in a timely fashion. Sort and post or otherwise ensure delivery of outgoing mails in a timely manner. Deal with enquiries and correspondence; routing to the relevant/ appropriate member of staff

5 Oversee maintenance of general cleanliness Ensure appropriate hospitality is accorded to visitors and partners visiting the office Co- ordinate all travel arrangements and logistics for the organization bookings, transportation etc Ensure that the office space, fixtures and furniture are in good condition and report any anomalies to the Head of management or any designated supervisor Package, label and dispatch all the parcels to respective regions Receive, record and distribute all the parcels to respective offices Maintain office machines i.e. the telephone system and the photocopier Providing support to meetings by taking minutes and organizing for venues and refreshments Record keeping and filing documents A degree in Business Administration, Secretarial studies, social sciences or a related course Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a busy environment Good Public relations and communication skills Strong administrative capability Ability to listen, be flexible and to multitask POSITION: DICE RECEPTIONISTS DR/LVCT/10/2017 REPORTING TO: DICE IN CHARGES LOCATION: KISUMU, AWASI, SONDU, KISII, AWENDO, MIGORI, ISEBANIA, MUHURU, SORI The Receptionists will be stationed at each of the DICES listed above. The duties will include offering administrative and program support to the Drop in Centers. The job holders will coordinate front desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Enrolment of clients in the Drop-in Centers by filling the drop in registers and opening individual client files Requisition of DICE regular supplies Making sure that the DICE is kept clean Making inventory of DICE furniture, equipment and utensils Updating client files and scheduling appointments and re-visits DICE petty cash requisition and liquidation Maintaining of DICE staff attendance book Taking minutes and maintaining DICE meeting minutes files Receiving and hosting visitors in the DICE Provide general administrative and clerical support at the DICE including mailing, scanning, and copying.

6 Receiving, sorting distributing and dispatching daily mail/deliveries/couriers and correspondences Opening and closing the DICE Overseeing DICE security matters REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A Diploma in social sciences or a related field 1 year work experience as a HTS provider/ key population peer educator or outreach worker will be an added advantage Good computer skills and ability to write reports Good written and verbal communication skills Professional appearances and warm personality Qualified Key Populations are encouraged to apply POSITION: FIELD OFFICER, KP REPORTING TO: DICE IN CHARGES LOCATION: KISII FO/LVCT/10/2017 The Field Officer will Coordinate, manage and provide oversight for implementation of outreach, health education and commodity management and supply. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working Closely with the Outreach Workers and Peer Educators to plan and conduct Outreaches for the Site To ensure Monthly Planning Meetings with the Outreach Workers and Peer Educators are held To Plan with the Site in Charges to ensure all the activities are factored in the site plans Support development and ensure implementation of strategies for the program area Supervision and follow up to ensure services to all the peers who are ready for retesting Ensure the peer educators retain their cohorts Monitor weekly condoms and lubricants supply and requests for more to avoid stock outs at the DICES Manage and monitor hotspots to ensure maximum saturation and coverage Support mobilization and referral of peers to the DICES for services Manage the Outreach workers and the peer educators Ensure the peer calendars and the outreach workers summary are filled correctly and on time Collect program related material e.g. human interest stories and photos A Diploma/Degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution Certificate in HTS accredited by NASCOP A Peer Educator with least 2 years of professional experience in HIV Programming preferably working with Key Population A critical understanding of and deep commitment to social /community work, and HIV health issues facing the key population
