Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Analyze and review denials: Resolve denial issues and complete timely rebilling: Review and resolve open accounts from aging reports; Maximize our collection rate. Prepare self-pay statements and third party claim forms. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT coding knowledge required. Associates Degree or 4 years of medical third-party billing and collection experience preferred. Strong demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.

2 Clinical Care Manager Description: Under the Primary Care Provider s (PCP s) direction, coordinates, organizes and provides care management to chronic disease patients, especially to those who are most at risk for health deterioration, sentinel events, and/or poor outcomes in collaboration with medical providers, patients and other members of the patient care team through patient education and self management. Ensures that patients at the highest risk receive care that is consistent with national, state and health center standards. Qualifications: Registered Nurse in MA; Current CPR certification; Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication skills; experience working with multicultural, multiethnic populations. Clinical experience with patients with chronic disease is highly desirable. Bilingual/Trilingual (English/Spanish/Portuguese preferred). Experience in health education, teaching, or case management preferred. Certified Diabetes Educator Dental Billing Representative Department: Dental Description: Input daily encounters into billing system, create and prepare claims in a timely and efficient manner, process denials, resolve denial issues, communicate with insurance companies when necessary to resolve denial issues and prepare denied claims for timely rebilling, process the aging report to resolve open accounts and maximize collection. Qualifications: HS Diploma, Ability to do repetitive work accurate. One year billing experience in a clinical setting or experience with records or office system. Computer/Data Entry skills a must. Bilingual (Spanish/English) Human Resources Supervisor Department: Human Resources Job Level: TBD Description: Provide day to day supervision of the Human Resources Department including but not limited to payroll and benefit administration, employee relations and the credentialing process. Participate in the recruitment process by screening and interviewing applicants for a variety of Health Center openings. Coordinate the on-boarding process for new employees. Provide back-up for the bi-weekly payroll process. General oversight of employee performance management process. Other duties as assigned by the VP of Human Resources. Qualifications: 5+ Years of experience in both Supervision and Human Resources including payroll and benefit administration, recruitment and performance management experience a must. Computer skills with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft office a must. Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills a must. Bachelor s Degree in a related field preferred or PHR.

3 Medical Interpreter I Description: EMKCHC has an immediate full time opening for a medical interpreter to provide medical interpretation services for health center patients adhering to the IMIA standards of practice. Qualifications: Trilingual language proficiency preferred (English, Spanish, and Portuguese) required. Moderate computer skills required. Language proficiency must meet standards to pass a Medical Interpreter Certificate program Successful candidate must be highly motivated, dependable, and a self starter with excellent customer service skills a must as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Receptionist/Benefits Coordinator Description: The medical department has immediate openings for a full time Medical Receptionist/Benefits Coordinator. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: Assist medical staff with patient scheduling: Assist medical staff in managing patient flow in and out of appointments; Act as the primary person to register patients; Complete all applications for State subsidized health insurance, as needed.; Provide insurance education to individuals; Data entry; Provide customer service to patients and customers. Answer the telephone and make patient appointments. Qualifications: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Related training preferred (Medical Office Assistant, CNA, Medical Assistant, etc). Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese required. Competent computer and phone skills required. Physician - Family Medicine, Internal Medicine Description: FT or PT opportunity for an experienced physician with to work within a culturally diverse, community health center in Worcester, MA to provide comprehensive and continuous primary care to a panel of patients within a federally-funded community health center in Framingham, MA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide care to patients with acute medical problems, treat and make appropriate use of diagnostic testing and consultation; Provide preventive health services according to practice standards; Participate in after hours call and hospital coverage on a rotating basis according to the schedule assigned by the Medical Director. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited medical school (M.D., or D.O.). MA Board of Registration to practice medicine. Completion of a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program required.

Adhering to designated nursing procedures within the scope of training, registered nurses (RNs) assess and treat and educate patients about various medical conditions. Coordinate care and provide advice and emotional support to patents family. Qualifications: MA Registered Nurse license, current BLS certificate. 2-5 years nursing experience with emphasis on community nursing health education and urgent care. Bilingual/Bicultural. Telephone Triage Nurse Description: To provide, skilled, professional telehealth nursing care to EMKCHC patients. Handle triage calls utilizing Barton Schmitt Pediatric Telephone Triage Protocols, Thompson Adult Telephone Protocols, policies and procedures of the program, practice-specific instructions and nursing judgment. Prioritize the order of call back to patients based upon their reported clinical problem(s) and the needs of other callers to the program. Choose appropriate clinical guidelines based on patient complaints and adequate assessment. Develop, implement and evaluate a plan of care for each call, including provider consultation as needed. Qualifications: MA Registered Nurse or MA Licensesd Practical Nurse. CPR Certfied. Basic computer and typing skills and confort with Microsoft Windows operating system. Fluency in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese preferred. Previous nursing experience with emphasis on community nursing, health education and /or telephone triage a plus. Unit Secretary Department: Behavioral Health Job Status: Full-Time Job Level: 4 Provide clerical support to the Behavioral Health Department to support the daily operations of all assigned medical providers, allied professionals, case managers and managers in the delivery of quality outpatient services to the patient. Qualifications: 1-2 years experience in a position providing customer service, clerical support, or health care related supportive services. Bilingual required.

Provide health education using evidence based curriculum that addresses issues including teen pregnancy, substance abuse, HIV/AIDS and STIs. To provide community-based health education, prevention, counseling and/or testing services, and/or referral services to identified target population within the community and/or Health Center. Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree or a minimum of 2-3 years work experience within the field of public health or human services engaging in community-based health education, prevention initiatives, or chronic disease management required. Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Portuguese preferred. Minimum 1-year work experience within the field of public health or human services engaging in community-based health education, prevention initiatives, or chronic disease management required. 1-2 years work experience with youth development preferred.
