Duties/Responsibilities: Assist members with resources with other agencies, such as rental, deposit, homeless shelters, listings to domestic abuse shelters and assist felons with referrals to re-entry work programs, job search, resume writing and other crisis that may arise with Leech Lake Band members. Identifying individual needs and creating an action plan to establish goals. Provide case management services for cases, include intake application, resources, accurate case notes, services provided, outreach activities conducted and contacts of other community agencies.

2 Twin Cities Office Manager ~ Human Services/Twin Cities Office ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: Manage and oversee the provision of quality services that are offered to band members through the Twin Cities Office. Manage programs and staff to best meet the needs of the organization. Education/Experience: Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of four years progressive responsibilities in administrative management required. Duties/Responsibilities: Direct involvement of day-to-day activities and operations. Will work closely with other community based agencies in the urban area for the purpose of collaborating on several critical issues. And at least one-year data entry experience in various programs, preferably State Systems. Education/Experience: Possess a Bachelor s Degree (preferred) or Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience working in the Early Childhood field and within the community. Duties/Responsibilities: Work in conjunction with Child Care Aware (CCA) in developing and implementing a Professional Development Plan that supports tribal childcare providers and trainers. Participate in planning, problem solving and implementation of program services working closely with management to ensure effective delivery of services. Seasonal Biological Technician Intern ~ DRM ~ $15.00/hr. ~ Job Code: Summary: The Seasonal Biological Technician Intern will be responsible for assisting the DRM Botanist or Crew Leader with a multitude of projects throughout the field season. Many of these projects deal with mechanical and bio-control of NNIS found within the Leech Lake Reservation and Chippewa National Forest. Education/Experience: AS degree in Natural Resources Management with an emphasis in Botany, or a minimum of two years coursework in a Botany or Natural Resources BS degree. Core course requirements are; Biology, Botany, Soil science or equivalent, Chemistry. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in the botanical surveys and assessments of plant communities/ecosystems on Reservation Lands. Assist in the implementation of habitat enhancement projects for plants and/or wildlife on the reservation. Keep an accurate daily log of field activities.

Determines if there is a need for services and provides resources to families to enable them to move toward their goals. Follow strict protocol for field work to insure goals are being achieved. Assist in the implementation of habitat enhancement projects for plants and/or wildlife on the reservation. Journalist ~ Public Relations ~ D.O.Q ~ Job Code: Summary: Research, document, write, and publish news articles and features on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in an honest, ethical, and unbiased way. Attend and provide coverage of a variety of events relevant to the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Education/Experience: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communications preferred. Requires a minimum of High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D). Minimum one year full-time professional news reporting experience preferred. Photography experience preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Prepares; news stories, press releases, media advisories and features for newspaper publication, website and other sources of media. Create and publish media for divisions, businesses and programs. Writing copy for publication on a tight deadline. Interviewing people in a wide range of circumstances. Follow events and lobby actions that affect Indian Country. Onigum Custodial Maintenance Supervisor ~ DPW ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: AND BCA REQUIRED Summary: To provide continuity in supervision and the expertise for the buildings, systems and grounds maintenance. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D). Six months to one year of general experience. General custodial, maintenance, general carpentry and building experience required. One to three years supervisory experience. Duties/Responsibilities: Performs maintenance and troubleshoots all building systems, utilizing mechanical carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical, masonry, plaster and sheetrock skills. Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting the Risk and Insurance Manager with the help of the Insurance Clerk. Manage the organization s claim submission, analysis, and completion process. Cass Lake Pre School Teacher ~ Education ~ $12.00/hr. ~ Job Code: BCA REQUIRED Summary: This position is responsible to work as a team to ensure the safety of children and that the classrooms contribute to the growth and development of each child. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Enroll in and attain a CDA within first year of employment. CDL recommended to obtain and will be compensated for acquiring. 5 Mental Health Case Manager ~ Human Services ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: This position will work to assist in the improvement of the social and psychological functioning of children and their families and to maximize the family well-being and the academic functioning of children. Education/Experience: Bachelor s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field. Prefer Licensed Social Worker. Completion of Target Case Manager training within one year of hire. May provide clinical supervision and coordinate grant funded therapeutic activities. Education/Experience: Master s degree or Ph.D. in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social Work and three (3) years experience in the mental health field required. Must be a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) required. Must be eligible for tribal licensure within 3 months of hire required. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) or other Human Services related field is required, Associate's Degree in Human Services may be considered, only if currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary educational institute, working towards Bachelor's level degree and degree is obtained within two years. Minimum requirement is AA in Human Services Field required with Case Supervision required. Duties/Responsibilities: Familiarity with the Human Services programs and surrounding county social service agencies is required or willingness to learn. WIC Nutrition Counselor ~ Health ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: AND BCA REQUIRED Summary: Responsible for preforming duties in a community based clinical setting related to the certification of clients for the Minnesota Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. The Nutrition Counselor will also be responsible for offering support, education about breastfeeding, and nutrition. Education/Experience: Bachelor s Degree from an accredited institution with a major in any of the following: nutritional sciences; community nutrition; clinical nutrition; dietetics; public health nutrition; or related field. Registered Dietitian (RD) or Diet Technician Registered (DTR) required. Duties/Responsibilities: Performs grounds care, including but not limited to, mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, fertilizing, watering, reseeding, applying fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and sterilants; sweeping walks and drives; patching parking lots and drives; repairing signs, snow removal, spreading sand, salt or ice melt. 7 Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ~ Human Services ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: Responsible for providing diagnoses, medication, and med management for LL Behavioral Health clients, ages 7-adult, as well as providing education and outreach when requested and approved by supervisor. Education/Experience: Masters or doctoral prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or nurse practitioner program in psychiatric mental health. MN State Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license. Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified or Physician Assistant (PA) license and Registration by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. One year or more of mental health care experience preferred in tribally operated or Indian Health Service Programs. Duties/Responsibilities: Screen and assess LLBH Clients.
