CDA, AA degree and/or completed classes with an emphasis in special education or working with children with special needs is preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in supporting individual students or small groups of students with special needs, in Head Start/Early Head Start classrooms. 3 Mental Health Clinical Trainee (2) ~ Human Services ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: Services are based on individual, child, and family needs and are offered at varying levels of involvement, such as crisis intervention, individual and family counseling sessions, school based services, family and community support services, and mental health assessments. Education/Experience: Master Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field and on track for licensure as a Mental Health Professional. Licensed Graduate Social Worker (L.G.S.W.) or Licensed Professional Counselor (L.P.C.) preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Accepts and follow through with referral, evaluates client physical and/or mental condition based on review of client information. Administers assessment tools for diagnosis to understand client psychological needs and identify appropriate client services under the supervision of a mental health professional. Mental Health Professional (2) ~ Human Services ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: Responsible for providing direct mental health services, including psychotherapy, with an emphasis on individuals and families, using various treatment modalities and skills to produce social, psychological, emotional, and spiritual well-being. May provide clinical supervision and coordinate grant funded therapeutic activities. Education/Experience: Master s degree or Ph.D. in Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social Work and three (3) years experience in the mental health field required. Must be a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) required. Must be eligible for tribal licensure within 3 months of hire required. Provides comprehensive DSM standard diagnostic assessment. Certified or eligible to become certified to provide DC 0-3 assessments for children ages four and under. Case Manager (2) ~ Human Services ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: Responsible for providing comprehensive case management services to children and families who are involved in, or is at risk to be in the child welfare system. Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) or other Human Services related field is required, Associate's Degree in Human Services may be considered, only if currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary educational institute, working towards Bachelor's level degree and degree is obtained within two years. Minimum requirement is AA in Human Services Field required with Case Supervision required. Duties/Responsibilities: Familiarity with the Human Services programs and surrounding county social service agencies is required or willingness to learn. Develop case plan with families and monitor to ensure goals are achieved. WIC Nutrition Counselor ~ Health ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: Responsible for preforming duties in a community based clinical setting related to the certification of clients for the Minnesota Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. Education/Experience: Bachelor s Degree from an accredited institution with a major in any of the following: nutritional sciences; community nutrition; clinical nutrition; dietetics; public health nutrition; or related field Registered Dietitian (RD) or Diet Technician Registered (DTR) required. Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Minnesota, or ability to attain licensure in Minnesota within 60 days, will also be considered. Duties/Responsibilities: Duties would include assessments, counseling, referrals, promotion, and education in breastfeeding and nutrition. Conduct certifications for pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up 5 years of age. Take anthropometric measurements of WIC participants. Ball Club Fitness Assistant ~ Health ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: The purpose of this position is to function as a Fitness Assistant for the Ball Club Diabetes Fitness Program by promoting physical activity. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, and an AA Degree preferred. Personal Training Certification preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for being on the exercise floor and overseeing participants exercise session to include setting time and intensity on equipment and equipment use instruction and recommendations that include proper from and technique of exercise. Cultural Coordinator ~ Human Services/OTP ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: B Summary: The Cultural Coordinator will enhance the wellbeing of the LLOTP clients utilizing Traditional culture and resources. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D). Preferred working toward CADC Certification. Duties/Responsibilities: Promote good public relations by creating positive communications with clients, staff and community members. Responsible for creating a seasonal calendar and providing activities. Study and prepare curriculum for instruction and prepare related materials which is sensitive to Ojibwe language and traditions. Cass Lake Pre School Teacher (4) ~ Education ~ D.O.Q ~ Job Code: Summary: This position is responsible to work as a team to ensure the safety of children and that the classrooms contribute to the growth and development of each child. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Enroll in and attain a CDA within first year of employment. CDL recommended to obtain and will be compensated for acquiring. Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain a healthy, emotional climate in the classroom setting. Promote and include culture and language into the classroom and into the home, including sign language. Tribal Planner Developer ~ Health ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: To provide assistance, guidance and support to the Health Division and its programs and services in the areas of healthy living, economics, and community development, as well as grant research and writing. Education/Experience: Bachelor s Degree in: planning, business or public administration or related field. Experience in Health planning and development, complex project planning and development of healthy communities, grant writing, grant management, program planning and program administration, utilizing planning and business models and tools to create comprehensive plans and strategies. Experience with tribal, state, and federal grants. Experience in working with tribal programs preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist with on-going development of overall strategic plan of Health Division. Collaborate with LLBO Planning Division on grant applications, and renewals.

Training and certification in safe food handling or the ability to acquire within 1 year preferred. Experience in diabetes care and delivering diabetes education preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Provide nutrition consultation, as needed, in tribal health programs, diabetes program, elderly nutrition program, head-start programs, day care centers, tribal schools, food programs and WIC programs as they relate to diabetes prevention and management. Family Service Advocate ~ Education ~ $12.00/hr. ~ Job Code: C assessing their needs. Duties/Responsibilities: Be familiar with current Head Start Performance Standards and the Leech Lake Center Based licensing requirements, Utilize developmentally appropriate practices and guidance. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ~ Human Services ~ D.O.Q. ~ Job Code: Summary: Responsible for providing diagnoses, medication, and med management for LL Behavioral Health clients, ages 7-adult, as well as providing education and outreach when requested and approved by supervisor. Education/Experience: Masters or doctoral prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and/or nurse practitioner program in psychiatric mental health. MN State Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) license. Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified or Physician Assistant (PA) license and Registration by the Minnesota State Board of Medical Practice. One year or more of mental health care experience preferred in tribally operated or Indian Health Service Programs. Duties/Responsibilities: Screen and assess LLBH Clients. Prescribe medication and monitor its effectiveness. Have a current plan of care in the medical record and complete notes in a timely manner. Consult with other medical and clinical providers on a routine basis.

Education/Experience: Two years hospital, clinic experience preferred. Duties/Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, health maintenance and education for patients and their families.
