WRCO Items a. WQF Regulation 84 Update i. New Uses (John Rehring/Damian) - Regulation 84 changes to new uses and defining categories of uses passed and effective 7/30/13. John will verify that finalized language was included. (subsequent positive confirmation) ii. Administrative/Procedural Refinements (Bob Dye) this group will meet 7/25/13, Bob Dye to send meeting invitation and agenda. iii. Introduced Margo Griffin as new Regulation 84 permit coordinator; she has a background in public & private sector, including water reuse and will be taking over for Liz Lemonds effective 10/1/13. Liz will be focusing on compliance activities, which will include Reg 84 and other related programs.

Compliance will be under Janet Keiler s group, compliance will be under Dick Parachini. b. WRCO Treasurer s Report (Dave) see attached report c. Future Bylaw Changes (Tara) Reviewed changes (see attachments). Changes passed unanimously, will be brought to national board in September 2013 during annual reuse symposium. d. WRCO polo shirts (Tara) distributed to attendees who are members/paid for shirts. 2. Subcommittee Updates a. Local Conferences i. WRA Symposium 2013 (9/15-18/13 Denver) (Jodi/Abbey) WRCO will have a table at the Symposium. Looking into signage and pamphlets for WRCO to provide visibility and encourage membership. Room Monitors & Moderators please advise Abbey if you are already registered for conference and have indicated interest in being a room monitor. Early bird registration ends August 2, then rates increase Awards National awards committee has not received any nominations from CO for the 2013 awards. National association has agreed to accept nominations from CO organizations through 7/19/13 to help showcase local projects during annual symposium being held in Denver. Abbey will send targeted to distribution list encouraging nominations. Sponsorships please advise Abbey if your organization is interested in some form of sponsorship at the annual symposium or if you are interested in contacting companies to help secure sponsorships. b. Website i. WRCO and Joint Reuse Website Revisions (Steve) -- Scholarship information currently posted on webpage, update to regulations will also be posted. c. Education/Outreach/Public Relations i. Industrial Reuse Committee Webinars (Abbey) next webinar likely to be held October 2013 and a specialty conference on industrial reuse will be held in December This service is free for members. ii. Landscape irrigators presentation (Brett) working on finalizing presentation. iii. Managing salinity documents (Nicole) no update iv. What assistance the RMSAWWA/RMWEA Educational Committee can offer the Joint Reuse Committee (Tara) RMSAWWA/RMWEA Educational Committee being changed but committee in its current form is being disbanded. d. Potable Reuse (Dave Takeda) no update

3 July 2013 Reuse Agenda Page 3 of 3 e. Graywater and Non-Traditional Uses (Tara) Stakeholder group is being formed to develop regulations. i. Regulation 86 stakeholder meeting was held week of 7/15/13 and was well attended. Discussion around indoor vs. outdoor use due to volumes of graywater produced and demand for non-potable water uses. f. Membership (Richard Leger/Greg Dye) all previous members have renewed, no new members. g. Regulations/Local Codes (Tara) no update h. Scholarships (Tanja) posted on webpage 3. WRA/WRRF Items a. WateReuse Association (WRA) updates - (Richard) Issues list to be evaluated for joining the association and research foundation, members assigned to study different issues. Subcommittees and board make-up are also being evaluated. 4. Other Business a Planning Workshop planned for late 2013 (Jodi) Should planning workshop be moved up to provide direction for Division work plan that will begin development in 10/13. b. September Meeting Tentatively set for 9/19/13, Plum Creek WWTP, 1 pm. Tara will provide an AWWA Water Reuse Committee update at this meeting and next WQF meeting will be held in conjunction with committee meeting. c. CDPHE has requested a list of items that have been requested to be addressed so that they can be prioritized and included in a future work plan, which will be developed 10/13. Previous issues list was developed and will be found and distributed. Damian has been coordinating feedback from the stakeholders. Low risk discharge guidance was identified as top priority by attendees. d. FDA developing guidelines for water reuse Bob Bastien coordinating. Richard Leger to follow up and determine whether or not national association is tracking this.
