(a) Records wll be kept of all property^delvered drectly to the varous supply dumps by the salvage collectng personnel (3) In collectng salvage and cantured materel, the followng practces wllbe observed. When unt can be dentfed, property wllbe forwarded and recept obtaned. (c) Gassed clothng end equpment wll be handled only by personnel wearng gas masks and mpermeable protectve clothng. Chemcal personnel attached to salvage unts wll supervse the handlng of gassed equpment. (f) Care should be taken that all salvaged and captured frearms are unloaded. Rfles should be dpped n an ol bath or other preservatve, when avalable, and securely ted n bundles of three, two butts down, n such manner that they wllbe njured as lttle as possble durng transportaton. Machne guns, automatc rfles, etc., should be wrapped n bags or canvas and planly tagged to ndcate contents. (g) Allparts of unservceable artcles whch can be used n remanufactorng wllbe salvaged. In th6 class are ncluded parts of frearms of every descrpton, automoble parts, empty shell cases, tres, boxes, reels, cable, copper, brass and metal n general. 11.I 1. Empty pallets, fuel drums and compressed gas* cylnders wllbe evacuated to salvage collecton dunros. 3. Collecton of enemy salvage end ca-ptured materel wllbe performed n the same manner as the collectng of salvage of our forces. a. All captured materel wllbe segregated n salvage dumps. b.
