General Actvty. () Defensve development and renforcement of the enemy strength on the sland of LUZON has been accelerated durng the months of September and October. Specal attenton has been gven to the most lkely landng beaches and the avenues of approach to MANLA and n the establshng of moble centrally located reserves. (2) Constructon of coastal defenses has been accelerated and sea approaches to favorable landng beaches are reported to be mned.
