3 TASK ALL1000 Complete assignments/special projects as directed The member will successfully complete all assignments and/or special projects to specifications as directed and within the specified time frame, budgetary requirements (if applicable), and applicable general orders. As applicable, the member actively participates in training classes, seminars, and simulations exercises (if applicable) designed to enhance job specific skills, knowledge, and abilities or to fulfill specific requirements. The member is on time for and attends shift briefings or staff meetings, recording all pertinent information and directives, and providing superiors and colleagues with job/shift related information. The member accurately maintains and submits in a timely manner their time/attendance/leave sheets pursuant to agency policies. The member accurately maintains the scanning of records in to the document imaging system. CM1517b Run NCIC/FCIC inquiries The member correctly operates NCIC/FCIC computer to standards mandated by state/federal authorities, receiving and disseminating accurate information to the authorized personnel in a timely manner consistent with agency policies. If applicable, the member accurately interprets retrieved criminal history information, hits, entries, and responses for documentation/records updating purposes. DD3052 DD3055 Observe inmate/offender/detainee behavior patterns Operate control panels to control ingress/regress and communications The member observes, documents, and reports any unusual changes in inmate/offender/detainee behavior pursuant to FMJS requirements and in accordance with agency policies. The member will correctly operate the control panel to safely and securely control ingress/regress and inmate/officer communications pursuant to agency policies. Page 2 of 10

The member will monitor and maintain effective communication with any and all appropriate personnel to ensure adequate surveillance of the facility, inmates/detainees, visitors and/or correctional personnel to help ensure the security of the facility and the safety of the individuals. Communication includes all authorized use of telephones, radios, intercom systems and any other agency approved device. The member will identify and employ necessary security measures to preclude escape and minimize injury to staff and inmates/offenders/detainees pursuant to applicable agency, state and federal laws, rules, regulations or procedures. The member controls movement of all authorized or escorted persons through the facility or assigned area in a timely, safe, and secure manner consistent with agency policies. The member will be security conscious at all times and will ensure that access to secured areas is denied to all unauthorized personnel or individuals. If applicable, the member will also maintain direct supervision of any personnel required or authorized to enter the secured area, and will report any discrepancies in security or emergency related equipment pursuant to FMJS requirements if applicable, and in accordance with agency policy. The member will request appropriate assistance ASAP in order to minimize pain and injury to the inmate/offender/detainee/ya recruit (if applicable), facility personnel and/or the public pursuant to FMJS regulations and in accordance with agency policies. The member notifies designated persons immediately during an emergency situation, accurately describing the situation and location and providing additional information and assistance as needed while maintaining the safety of all personnel in the affected area. The member will follow established procedures and/or verbal instructions from authorized superiors when responding to the situation as appropriate. The member generates and submits a detailed accurate report of the incident pursuant to agency policy The member will immediately and accurately report any sabotage, pilferage, or security violations to a supervisor and/or control room as appropriate, in accordance with agency policies. The member generates and submits a detailed accurate report of the incident if required pursuant to any applicable regulations and agency policy The member accurately and completely reviews inmate file/history and correctly determines/verifies that all criteria are in place and that the appropriate level of custody for the inmate is selected and in accordance with FMJS requirements and agency policies. The member accurately tracks, reviews, and verifies administrative segregation/disciplinary confinement/protective confinement orders and documentation, ensuring all information is correctly and accurately entered into the database in a timely manner pursuant to FMJS requirements and agency policies. ICL3700g Generate/issue/replace ID tag The member will issue ID tag during the orientation process and replace armbands in a timely manner upon request by authorized personnel. ICL3700j Enter Court disposition information and complete DOC lists The member will accurately enter court disposition information into database to include calculating sentences of 1 year or less and completing DOC lists to include computing credits. All County sentenced inmates with no open felonies will be admitted for review to become a trusty pursuant to FMJS requirements and agency policies.. ICL3701 Conduct classification interview The member conducts a thorough inmate classification interview within 24 hours of the inmate's admission (excluding weekends & holidays) in order to determine level of custody, grade, special handling/housing requirements, and program participation, pursuant to DOC regulations. 6 ICL3702 Reclassify inmates The member participates on the Inmate Reclassification Committee and/or correctly reclassifies inmates based on changes in behavior, attitude, custody status, program participation and/or upon additional verifiable information. ICL3916 Maintain separation of male, female, juvenile, keep separate inmates The member will maintain the appropriate separation between male, female, designated keep separate inmates, and/or juvenile inmates/offenders as required by FMJS requirements and agency policies/procedures, ensuring the safety and proper monitoring of all inmates under their supervision at all times. IR3030 Verify inmate identity for The member accurately verifies the identity of the intake/transfer/release/fingerprinting/ person being admitted, transferred, escorted, transporting fingerprinted, transported or released, pursuant to FMJS requirements and agency policies. The member will accurately follow agency prescribed procedures when discovering possible identification discrepancies. IR3033 Photograph inmate The member photographs inmates in such a manner as the photographic features are clear, focused, and complete, pursuant to agency policies. IR3034 Fingerprint inmate The member obtains fingerprints of a quality acceptable by FDLE and FBI for filing and analysis/comparison by crime lab technicians pursuant to agency policies. IR3036b IR3036c IR3046b Receive, verify, and process surety and cash bonds Process Off Bonds/Surrender Certificates Locate, retrieve, and update preexisting inmate booking records The member will thoroughly review, verify, process, and forward to the appropriate entity, all surety and cash bonds in a timely manner, including the Power of Attorney portion, to ensure they are complete and accurate in accordance with agency policies and procedures and conform to applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and/or regulations. The member will accept, process in a timely manner, and forward to the appropriate entitiy Surrender Certificates in accordance with agency policies and procedures and pursuant to any applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and/or regulations. The member will correctly determine if a record already exists on the arrested subject and will either create a new record or update the existing one as appropriate, accurately completing all required information, in accordance with agency policies/procedures and applicable state and/or federal laws, rules and regulations. 7 IR3046c Generate and complete/update booking sheet The member will generate a new booking sheet and file for the inmate's current incarceration, accurately completing all required information and including all applicable forms (affidavit for each charge, transportation order, commitment form, property inventory and cash account receipt) pursuant to FMJS regulations and in accordance with agency policies. IR3046d Assign and attach OBTS numbers The member will determine if an old OBTS number exists for the inmate and if so assign the existing number to the inmate. If not, Live Scan will assign the next sequential number to the inmate's computer file and fingerprint card pursuant to FMJS regulations and agency policies. IR3086a Prepare documentation for inmate release or transfer to DOC The member accurately and completely prepares all required release or transfer and transportation documentation, forwarding same to the designated supervisor for review/verification pursuant to FMJS requirements and agency policies. IR3717a Route Release Sheets The member will submit all bonds and release documents to the designated supervisor for review/verification prior to inmate release in accordance with agency policies and procedures. IR3770 SP7018 POLICY PL1000 Notify appropriate entities regarding escape charges and/or suicide risk Demonstrate positive working relationship with colleagues and other units within the HCSO. Accepts supervision, direction, feedback, and guidance The member will promptly notify the classification section when subjects are booked on escape charges and/or Medical Services if the inmate is perceived to be a suicide risk pursuant to agency policies. The member demonstrates congenial, respectful, and productive behaviors and attitudes towards others in working relationships with colleagues and other agency members. The member responds to supervision, guidance, direction, and feedback of superiors in a positive, receptive manner and in accordance with general orders. PL1001 Grooming and dress The member is appropriately groomed and attired so as to present a professional image in accordance with general orders. PL1002 Abide by Code of Conduct The member will conduct him/herself in an ethical and professional manner, abiding by the established code of conduct as stipulated in general orders. PL1003 Leave and Attendance The member will follow all leave and attendance related policies/procedures, including, but not limited to arriving on time, working the entire shift, submission of vacation and member requests, notification of supervisor regarding absence from work due to illness or untimely incidents.
