1 UNITED ARCHITECTS OF THE PHILIPPINES Laguna Chapter No. 30, 11th St., Pacita Complex I, San Pedro, Laguna Mobile Number: ACTIVITY REPORT NO AUGUST 2017 BOARD MEETING NO. 01 The first Board Meeting for the Fiscal Year was held last July 17, 2016 at Nonna s Pasta and Pizzeria, Solenad 3, Santa Rosa, Laguna. It was attended by the newly appointed Chapter Officers headed by the Chapter President, Ar. Laddie Gallo. In attendance were the following: UAP Laguna Chapter President UAP Laguna Chapter VP for Programs UAP Laguna Chapter VP for Operations UAP Laguna Chapter Secretary UAP Laguna Auditor UAP Laguna Director Ar. Jeanet Suerte Included in the Board Meeting Agenda were: 01 Planning and schedule of activities: Date July 19, 2017 September 2017 October 2017 Activity First General Membership Meeting (GMM) Chapter induction Team building Other proposed activities: a. Community service: Tree planting in partnership with Energy Development Corporation BINHI Program at University of the Philippines Los Baňos Laguna (UPLB) and book giving at day care centers or charity institutions. b. Public awareness: Exhibit of projects at City halls and career orientation for Grade 11 students about construction industry.

Rosa, Laguna. It was headed by the newly appointed officers and attended by the chapter members with the support of the past officers. Before the start of the main membership meeting, a product presentation was done by Schindler Elevator wherein in this way the members were updated with the newest trends of elevators that can be used in their individual or company projects. Furthermore, the Steeltech representatives invited the members to participate in their incoming 4th Steeltech Playball. Main General Membership Meeting: 01 Presentation of the New Set of Chapter Officers and acknowledgement of new members 02 Financial report for fiscal year was reported by Ar. Aristeo Misa Jr (chapter treasurer F.Y ) 03 Announcement of proposed calendar of activities: Date September 8/15/22, 2017 October 19-21, 2017 Activity Chapter induction (will still check the availability of the national officers and further details will be announced on the next general membership meeting) UAP Joint Area Assembly - Ilocos Norte (Tentative Date) Information on this incoming activity was announced by Ar. Jose Lagman 04 Explanation of the Continuing Professional Development was done by Ar. Cris Jan Banaag in which the queries of the members were answered. 05 Ar. Jose Angelo Lagman won the raffle (32-inches LED TV)

4 06 Renewal of IAPOA and Chapter Membership First General Membership Meeting Fiscal Year held last July 19, 2017 at Max's Arcadia Sta. Rosa, Laguna attended by 38 members, product presentation by Schindler Elevator Inc. and chapter agendas were discussed by chapter president Ar. Laddie Gallo.

Cris Jan Banaag Included in the Board Meeting Agenda were the following: 01 Preparation and planning for chapter induction Venue: Ayala Greenfield Estates Golf Course Clubhouse Time: 6:00 PM 10:00 PM Attire: Filipiniana/Barong Tagalog Visual presentation: Ar. Cesar Aljama Entertainment and Host: Professional host to be hired Participation of UAPSA: Usherettes/documentation/registration/entertainment 02 Board Resolution No. 001 Included in the board resolution no. 001 is to transfer the signatories for the chapter bank account s check and authority to the new president and treasurer wherein it will be done on Thursday, August 24, 2017.

7 03 General Membership Meeting No. 2 There will be no product presentation since the supposed scheduled sponsor backed out. Thus the program will only be about the dissemination of information regarding chapter induction and joint area assembly, raffle and fellowship. 04 Team Building Date November 2017 Venue/Other Information Camp N Nuvali, Sta. Rosa Laguna Sponsor: Boysen Participants: Chapter officers and committee Heads for programs 05 Other Matters a. For ocular visit about project accommodation at Sta. Rosa Science and Technology School. Examples of projects are renovation of comfort rooms, adopta-school program, providing good water source and green environment. b. Courtesy call with Dean Cayanan of University of Perpetual Help Calamba and Dean Gacutan of Malayan University with respective UAPSA officers on Thursday, August 24, c. Production of chapter shirts. Second Board Meeting held at 1028 Kitchen Place Solenad 3 Sta. Rosa Laguna attended by the chapter officers.

Rosa, Sta. Rosa Laguna. A new ambiance was felt since the chapter usually holds the membership meeting at Max s restaurant. It was attended by 47 chapter members and 2 guest architects wherein it was headed by chapter president Ar. Laddie Gallo with the support of the chapter officers. There was no product presentation since the Graco company cancelled their commitment last minute. Thus, the main agenda in this meeting was about the Chapter induction and Joint area assembly. Before the start of disseminating information regarding the incoming events, the new members of the chapter introduced themselves again to be acquainted with the old members. Ar. Laddie Gallo informed the members about the venue, time and attire for the chapter induction while Ar. Jose Lagman and Ar. Arniel Idos were the one who explained and encouraged the members to attend the joint area assembly. Lastly, there was a raffle wherein Ar. Tess Calvo, Ar. Abet Caringal, Ar. Lileth Barias and Ar. Ivy Estrella won and they will be the first batch to be featured on the Facebook page of UAP Laguna in which their works and biography will be presented. **GMM was presented/sponsored by Boysen Paints thru Mr. Marvin Pedrina.

Aimee Parchamento Agenda for the courtesy call are: 01 Continuing support of UAP Laguna to students in the college of architecture University of Perpetual Help Calamba through the following programs: a. Conducting thesis consultations b. Tie-up on the incoming national architecture week and world architecture day c. Promoting the profession through design contest and seminars d.
