17 17 REAL PROPERTY SERVICES FIELD OFFICE (RSFO) We support the Intelligence Community National Program Manager for NSA/Intelligence Community. Provide real estate, design and construction services Baltimore District is a key player in emerging priorities, such as cybersecurity. Customers in addition to NSA include both DoD and non-dod agencies with secure needs. Provides full service support to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. 18 ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES 18 We support our environment by Cleaning up sites contaminated with hazardous, toxic or radioactive waste or ordnance through the Formerly Used Defense Sites program Cleaning up low-level radioactive waste from the nation s early atomic weapons program through the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program Supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency by cleaning up Superfund sites and working with its Brownfields and Urban Waters programs Supporting the Army with the Base Realignment and Closure Act program Ensuring that facilities comply with federal, state and local environmental laws Spring Valley Formerly Used Defense Site Ordnance Removal Fort Wainwright, Alaska Massachusetts Military Reservation Cleanup STURGIS Decommissioning

19 19 REAL ESTATE We provide a wide range of realty services on more than 300 civil and military projects and installations. We are the Regional Center of Expertise for the Enhanced Use Leasing (EUL) Program: Long-term leases for non-excess Army property Superfund Support Energy EUL Fort Irwin, CA Recruiting Facilities We manage the Defense National Relocation Program (DNRP): Available to eligible DoD civilians DNRP provides services for up to approximately 1000 relocating DoD employees annually We lease and support more than 300 Armed Forces recruiting stations and 180 housing units. EUL Test Track, Yuma, AZ Army Family Housing Defense National Relocation Program We provide real estate acquisition and relocation support to a wide range of customers through the Interagency and International Services program. 19

20 WASHINGTON AQUEDUCT We operate a public water utility 20 serving the District of Columbia, Arlington County, the City of Falls Church, and portions of Fairfax County, Va. We produce an average of 180 million gallons per day. Our operations are regulated by EPA Region III. Residuals Management Georgetown Reservoir All costs borne by our three wholesale customers operating under the auspices of a Wholesale Customer Board. 21 EMERGENCY RESPONSE 21 We respond to natural and man made disasters in our region and across the country. We have standing teams of volunteers, trained and prepared to respond: Debris Planning and Response Team FEST-A (71st Detachment) Base Development Team Contingency Real Estate Support Team (CREST) Environmental Support Team (EnvST) We manage the Flood Control and Coastal Emergencies Program (PL 84-99) within our Civil Works boundaries. Hurricane Jonas Post-Storm Survey Deployable Tactical Operations System Technical Assistance after Ellicott City Flooding FEST-A Team Deployment We support the national response plan as part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency s team.

22 BALTIMORE DISTRICT IN THE COMMUNITY 22 We serve as members of the community by signing formal partnerships with universities to help promote engineering and math careers. Annual events at our recreational areas to encourage conservation, education, and safety in and out of the water. Support to partners of the Chesapeake Bay Morgan State University formal partnership Raystown Lake Cleanup Host visits for students, government and international partners to projects such as Poplar Island to further the sharing of ideas and innovation. Engage in events at schools and universities throughout the year to promote careers in Science, Technology, Engineering & Math. Every Kid in the Park Science, Technology, Engineering & Math initiatives Water & Boating Safety Events
