CL/BM/12-13(02) PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENT BIS Central Laboratory, Sahibabad invite applications from the contractors having experience in CPWD/ PWD/ Autonomous bodies/ Semi Govt. Dept. & Pvt. Organizations for preparation of list of registered contractors for 02 years period for carrying out various types of works i.e. (A) Civil work including structural repair, House plumbing, fabrication & Interior Decoration work, (B) Electrical work, in Central Laboratory Campus. Interested contractors may also obtain details of advertisement & proforma of application form from website i.e Filled in application are required to be submitted to the office of the Scientist-F & Head (BM) BIS Central Laboratory, Sahibabad on or before 19 th, March 2013 up to 05:00p.m. Application does not require any fee.

2 BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS CENTRAL LABORATORY Notice For Inviting Applications For Enlistment of Contractors Application are invited in prescribed format for enlistment of Contractors for various works. 1.The Classes of Enlistment are: i. Class-I :- Works costing upto Rs lakhs ii. Class-II :- Works costing upto Rs lakhs 2. The categories of Enlistment based on type of works are: A. Civil work including structural repair, House plumbing, fabrication & Interior Decoration work. B. Electrical Work. 3. Terms and Conditions: 3.1 -The Contractor shall have to submit the application in a prescribed form (Annexure-I), complete with all documents as per Annexure-II. 3.2-The enlistment shall be done in the classes and categories mentioned in Clause No.1 and The contractors shall have to satisfy the minimum eligibility criteria specified in Table-I below for enlistment in each class and category.

3 Table-I Class Tendering Limit Part Experience I 5Lakhs i. Three works in same category of 1.25 lakhs or Two works of 2.50 lakhs or One work of 4 lakhs OR ii. One completed work of any category either part of (i) or a separate one costing not less than 2.5 lakh with some Central Government/State government/central or State autonomous body/ Central public undertaking II 2Lakhs i. Three works in same category of 50 thousand or Two works of 1 lakh or One work of 1.6 lakhs OR ii. One completed work of any category either part of (i) or a separate one of any cost with some Central/Government/State government/ Central or State autonomous body/ Centralpublic undertaking Remarks 3.5 Please attach the copies of Experience Certificate or work order listed against the requirements mentioned in Table I along with the application Incomplete applications and applications not accompanied with necessary documents will be rejected and any enquiry & communication will not be entertained by this office BIS shall have the right to independently verify the details furnished by the Contractor and to get the work done by the contractor inspected and/or to get such other reports as may be considered necessary The enlistment shall be valid for a period of two years. The enlistment shall be open to review by the enlistment authority (BIS) and liable to termination, suspension or any such action at any time if considered necessary by the enlistment authority The enlistment of a Contractor in BIS shall only entitle him to be considered for issue of tender papers (Limited tender and Open Tender Enquiry) subject to the conditions laid down in each individual Notice Inviting Tenders. It shall not confer

4 any right on him either to be necessarily issued the tender papers or for award of work Contractor is eligible to apply for enlistment in more than one category. For each category separate application forms and relevant experience are to be submitted. Eligibility in Higher class automatically render eligibility in the lower classes. 4. Separate Application forms (Annexure-I) are to be submitted for each category applied. Application should be submitted before 19 th March 2013 at 5.00p.m. in BIS Central laboratory, 20/9 Sahibabad Industrial area, Site-IV, Sahibabad. No application fee is required to be submitted along with the application. BIS reserve its right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason. (Mech/BM) Sc-F & Head
