3 Summary The purpose of this document is to summarize approved uniform wear for AU Health employees required to standardize uniforms as part of the AU Health Uniform Branding Initiative. The information presented below reflects approved disciplines, their assigned colors, in addition to approved branding, manufacturers, and uniform types. Discipline Colors Disciplines approved for standardized uniform wear have been divided into two categories as determined by their assigned uniform types (e.g. Clinical or Professional). For the purposes of the AU Health Uniform Branding Initiative; clinical uniform wear consists of scrub tops, scrub bottoms, scrub jackets, and lab coats, professional uniform wear consists of polo shirts, work shirts, khaki pants, cargo pants, chef wear, blazers, and t-shirts. 4 Discipline (Professional Uniform Wear) Patient Access Services Assigned Color Caribbean Blue Food & Nutrition Black Facilities Services Navy Specialty Services Hunter Green Enterprise Supply Chain Wine Volunteer Services Teal Uniform Branding In support of the AU Health Uniform Branding Initiative, use of the AU Health logo and, in certain circumstances the CHOG non-formal logo, have been approved for use. In general, the AU Health logo is the primary logo for all branded uniforms. The CHOG non-formal logo 1 has been approved for use in areas of the health system providing dedicated pediatric care. Figure 2 AU Health Logo Figure 2 CHOG Non-Formal Logo Uniform Manufacturers Cherokee brand Medical Uniforms has been selected as the manufacturer for clinical uniforms. Within Cherokee brand Medical Uniforms, the following manufacturing lines will be available to AU Health employees: Workwear Originals, Workwear Core Stretch, Workwear Revolution, and Infinity. 5 Within Alpha Broder, the following manufacturing lines will be available to AU Health employees: Core365, Harriton, and Devon. Dickies premium fit lines will be available to AU Health employees for khaki and cargo pant requirements. The information provided in this section is a result of recommendations made through the Uniform Selection Committee and approved through AU Health s Senior Leadership Team.
