2 What: Ohio Nurse of the Year Awards (NOTY) is an elegant awards event and fundraiser that brings together the health care community to recognize nursing excellence and achievements in research, education, quality patient care, innovation and leadership. Eighteen awards will be presented to the most outstanding nurse within each category. Event Details: The 4th Annual Ohio NOTY is to take place on December 9 and will feature a seated luncheon and awards ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Downtown Columbus. The event for the first two years was Chaired by Tracy Davidson, President, of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Ohio. The 2015 Chair was Michael Reichfield, President of OhioHealth Doctors Hospital. How are Nurses Selected? Nominated nurses are asked to submit an on-line application to be considered as a finalist.
