4 HONORING INNOVATORS - $1,000 The 2018 Gala will celebrate the innovators of our time, those that lead the way during a critical moment in history. They listened and navigated thoughtfully. They responded and adapted with grace, spirit, and grit. Our celebration will honor the innovators that made the Medicare Hospice Benefit a reality, cared for HIV/AIDS patients, and brought national attention to quality of life at the end of life. NHF wants to showcase these innovators at the Gala in a unique way - through stories printed on keepsake postcards at every attendee s table. An investment of $1,000 will enable you to share their story with NHF and the hospice community. Your organization name and one story* will be printed on a 4 x 6 fullcolor card and placed at a setting on the table. This is the opportunity to honor an outstanding healthcare professional and/or individual innovator. 7 AUCTION OPPORTUNITIES AUCTION CATEGORIES Please note that not all auction items need to fit into these categories. These categories are only to inspire you. We will gladly consider all donations. DONATION GUIDELINES Retail values are requested with all donations. In the event a value is not provided, the opening bid will be determined by the National Hospice Foundation. Donations without a stated value will receive full recognition, including a formal acknowledgement letter; however, the National Hospice Foundation will be unable to provide a detailed tax receipt. Please note that final inclusion in the auction is at the discretion of the National Hospice Foundation. If, for any reason, a donation is not accepted, the item(s) will be returned to the donor. If an item does not sell, it will be used for another fundraising opportunity.
