Of course the most valuable benefit to sponsorship is making a difference in the lives of veterans and military families, but research shows that your employees will have a more positive image of your company as it reinforces your commitment to enrich the community where you live and work. Q: Is YOUR donation tax-deductible? YES! Soldier s Wish is a 501(c)(3) charity and your sponsorship is 100% tax-deductible. Q: Where does YOUR money go? It s our mission to ensure that the money we raise goes to those heroes who need help most. Unlike other charitable organizations who may focus their efforts on just veterans or just active duty military, Soldier s Wish reaches out to any veteran or active duty military AND their families regardless of age, rank or branch of service - to provide the support they need. In order to ensure that your donation goes to help our heroes, Soldier s Wish operates with minimal administrative costs. We employ one staff member to handle administrative duties. Our board and other staff members are all volunteers and are dedicated to our mission of supporting our American heroes. Q: How does Soldier s Wish grant wishes? We invite anyone to nominate a veteran or active duty military family who needs help. We partner with organizations like The American Legion the nation s largest veterans organization, to reach out to our veterans. Once we receive a nomination, our staff of volunteers pre-qualifies the wish recipient to determine their level of need and identifies how Soldier s Wish can make the biggest impact.
