2 Message FROM THE FOUNDATION Prairie View A&M University has thrived for more than 140 years, producing thousands of engineers, nurses, educators, doctors, lawyers, business and industry leaders who are visible all over the country. The vision of the Foundation is to work directly with the University to increase enrollment and attract excellent faculty. Through the work of the Foundation, the University will have the means to create endowments for scholarships, fellowships and professorships, fund capital projects, support salary enhancements and faculty sabbaticals, support student leadership training, assist with the improvement of retention and graduation rates, embrace cultural development, and provide unrestricted funds to support the activities of the University and Foundation. The Prairie View A&M Foundation seeks to build upon prior generations of excellence by, GROWING GREATNESS THROUGH GIVING!

3 Dear Friends of Prairie View A&M University Greetings, The Prairie View A&M Foundation is now entering its eighth year of operation. During these years, our s have generously funded many much-needed projects on campus. We have provided student scholarships, classroom instruments, and startup capital for the new Panther Stadium. The Panther Stadium has proven the value of commitment and focused giving. As we enter the upcoming school year, there are additional opportunities that we need to address to assist with educational achievements of students at the university. We realize, in order to accomplish these needs for our students, we must expand our reach. It is imperative that we engage more donors in the process. We need to expand the Foundation s capabilities farther and faster than our s can personally fund, even with our non-restricted gifts. We are reaching out to our corporate friends, small business owners, local citizens and alumni to join us in developing the capacity to Grow Greatness through Giving!
