2 Dear Friend of KALAGNY, The Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (KALAGNY) cordially invites you to our 32 nd Anniversary Gala on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Gotham Hall in Midtown. Who We Are KALAGNY is a largely volunteer, professional membership organization of attorneys and law students in the tri-state area. We seek to encourage the professional growth of our members as well as serve the Korean American community. We engage our membership and the community through our legal education programs, advocacy efforts, mentorship program, pro bono commitment, community outreach, and networking opportunities. About Our Gala Our Gala is a tribute to KALAGNY s works and achievements over the past year, and an opportunity for us to recognize leaders in our community. It is also our main fundraiser to support our members and programs. Our Gala is attended by over 400 guests, including judges, community leaders, general counsels, in-house attorneys, prosecutors, law firm partners and associates, professors, solo practitioners, and law students. KALAGNY, and the community we serve, are very grateful for the generosity of our sponsors and supporters. What s New with Our 2018 Gala? New Venue! We brought the Gala back to Midtown. In line with our move to Gotham Hall, our Gala will be a Black Tie affair. Going Green! Digital program booklets will be distributed via special e-blasts to KALAGNY s members, leading up to the Gala. Five program booklets will be at each table. Updated Sponsorship Levels!
