5 Enthusiastic entrepreneurs present their companies and innovative business plans to compete for a cash prize and a year of professional mentoring support. The Maryland Hispanic Business Conference, a conference event that attracts more than 700+ notable business leaders, entrepreneurs, experts, media executives and government officials. Veronica Cool, CEO, of Cool & Associates is the founder of the MDHBC s Latino Innovators Pitch. I created this competition to provide a seed capital, access, and mentoring support to propel Latino small business owners to the next level, while showcasing the inherent talent and innovation within the Latino business community. The MDHBC s Career and Resources Fair give employers a chance to bond with highly qualified individuals in specific fields. At the fair, the employer is able to have a face-to-face interaction with qualified candidates and gets to know what the person is like immediately. 12 EXHIBITING INSTRUCTIONS EXHIBIT BOOTH DETAILS Admission to the Exhibit Hall is FREE for the General Public. The Exhibit area is carpeted. Exhibitor Booth includes 2 All day tickets. Exhibitor Name badges will be provided at check-in registration. Exhibit Booth includes a Table-top w/fitted linen and 2 Chairs. Exhibits Booths are located in exhibit areas outside the general session and breakout session rooms. General area security service (booth security & protection of special valuable items are at exhibitor s own risk and expense). No electricity provided. (contact hotel for all Electrical needs - Electrical Order Form) All exhibit material must conform to fire and electrical codes of the facility. Audio - Kindly keep audio devices at a tolerable level. If your devices are disturbing to neighboring exhibits you may be asked to lower sound levels or move to another location. BOOTH LOCATION Booth assignments will be on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date of receipt of a completed paid Exhibitor Registration. Booths will be assigned by MDHBC. Former Exhibitors will be given preferred locations, as available. MDHBC reserves the right to refuse exhibit space to any company or organization. SET-UP & BREAKDOWN SET-UP: All Exhibits must be completely set-up between 7:00-8:00 am on Tuesday, September 4. Set-up also available the night before on Monday, September 3 after 8:00pm. Booth Breakdown: will begin no sooner than 4:30 pm on event day. All Exhibitors should have staff present during open exhibit hours. At the end of the Conference, exhibitors are expected to dismantle their booths and remove all materials. Materials left behind will be removed and placed in trash receptacle.

13 CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICIES* REFUNDS To process a refund, MDHBC must receive a written notice of cancellation**. If MDHBC receives notice of cancellation more than 60 days prior to the Conference dates, MDHBC will issue refund minus a 25% processing fee; if cancellation occurs less than 60 days prior to the Conference dates, the processing fee will be 50%. NO Refunds will be made for cancellations less than 40 days prior to the Conference date. Complimentary registrations will be invalid if booth space is cancelled. Refunds will be processed accordingly: For payments received by credit or debit cards, the same credit/debit card will be refunded. For all other payments, a bank transfer will be made to the payee nominated account and all bank charges will be directly deducted from the refund. *Cancellations after July 25, 2018 will not be refunded for any reason. **Cancellations will only be considered when received in writing. --- All cancellation requests must be ed to registration@mdhbc.com for refunds to be eligible.
