Held annually in Washington, D.C., the Health Action Conference brings together between 600 and 800 health policy activists, health insurance enrollment assisters, academics, and foundation staff from dozens of national, state, and local organizations. In 2015, more than 260 organizations from 41 states were represented. The conference also features many prominent speakers. In recent years, notable speakers have included President Barack Obama, Vice President Joseph Biden, HHS Secretary Sylvia Mathews Burwell, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, and numerous other federal and state officials. Families USA is pleased to offer a range of sponsorship opportunities. You will be recognized as a Silver level sponsor and receive Silver level benefits (see previous page). Sponsor Health Action Conference Scholarships: $5,000 each Conference scholarships will cover registration and travel costs for advocates who otherwise would be unable to attend due to financial constraints. Sponsors can designate scholarships for a particular geographic area or an organization, but not for specific people. Conference sponsors will receive Bronze level benefits (see previous page).
