Salaries/expenses paid for hours of SWCD staff time spent on 2 household hazardous waste collections, landowner assistance, grant writing for erosion control/habitat improvement projects mapping, GIS and GIS training, Little Fork and Big Fork River Board meetings, tax program sign-up assistance, SWCD board meeting preparation and attendance, flood damage inventory, Rainy-Namakan Rule Curve Study Board meetings including evaluations, and document review, participation and presentation at the Heart of the Continent event, writing of the majority of the 2018 County Water Plan update including review, 2 public meetings, and 4 WPAC meetings; Rat Root River discussions, time spent forming a partnership with Treaty 3 in Canada, exploring the opportunity to partner with the City of Ranier for a grant to work on Second Creek (Highway 11 East), discussions with Koochiching County regarding a Koochiching County Cooperative Weed Management Pilot Project, Grant planning for SWAG site selection; planning for the August 2017 Area VIII meeting/tour (host), elink data entry and management, one planning retreat.
