INVENTORY/MAPPING Start Date 5-May-14 End Date 31-Dec-16 Inventory and mapping of the Oriental Bittersweet infestations. The various agencies involved have identified about 40 sites, 1,500 acres of Oriental Bittersweet infestations in Winona County. Grant Activity - Program Administaration Grant Administration. ADMINISTRATION/COORDINATION Start Date 5-May-14 End Date 31-Dec-16 Grant Activity - Technical Assistance Grant administration. The SWCD is also working with the various members of the Winona Cooperative Weed Management Area MOU to coordinate work for this grant; primarily Oriental Bittersweet control. Technical Assistance by the MN DNR, Conservation Corps of Minnesota, MDA, U of M Extension & Winona Co. SWCD. TECHNICAL/ENGINEERING ASSISTANCE Start Date 5-May-14 End Date 31-Dec-16 Technical assistance provided to 3 landowner under contract to remove Oriental Bittersweet infestations.
