27 Program Updates ABOUT the STREET YOUTH APPLICANTS 59 Applicants were received After paper screening, pre-qualified candidates totals 51 (22 youth are 2+ years of college and 29 high school graduates ) Some took IT Courses and some already have employment experience Youth comes from communities in Bagong Silangan, Quezon City, Tondo, Manila and Makati City TRAINING OF TRAINERS 2-day training of trainers is from May 17-18, 2012 JOB READINESS TRAINING Curriculum is being revised to fit Filipino culture and to integrate BPO industry elements that will increase competency of the graduates on the job MENTORSHIP TRAINING The training design is being reviewed to fit Filipino culture and to aid the mentor in fulfilling his/her volunteer efforts
