In front of this scenario, Christian Kern (CEO of ÖBB) started a new digital strategy. For ÖBB, the solution laid in the methodology Agile StartUps are applying. After an attention screening of various possible Partners and business models to chose from. Christian Kern decided to start a collaboration with Speed Start Studio. Result In May 2015, imobility was born, as result of a joint venture between ÖBB and Speedstartstudio. Netshop was acquired in the summer 2015, growing rapidly and generating relevant data, in order to develop the product and create a Go-to market strategy. With over 400,000 downloads imobility exceeded all expectations. Mobility and ÖBB, are currently working together for the Digital integration of all existing ÖBB product portfolio.
