12 Production Brush Cutting April 25th, 2018 We are currently accepting completed application forms from community members who have minimum 1 season of production experience or have taken the Rexforet Brush cutting course for the 2018 production brush cutting season. All brush cutters must be knowledgeable of all tree species in our area and of the different types of brush cutting prescriptions. Workers are required to provide the following: Reliable transportation to and from work site before contract starts. If driving a valid driver s license is required. All required safety equipment (which is reimbursed $4/day) to start contract. All equipment required to carry-out production brush cutting. All employees must be able to work the mandated hours, maintain production levels, ensure high level of quality and be able to stay in camps. We will select our candidates based on previous quality and production levels and attendance. As in past years, if an employee chooses to go to another contract, i.e. SOPFEU, his or her position is lost and will not be taken back into brush cutting contract. This is solely due to the fact that if we do not finish our blocks in a timely manner, there will be penalties incurred for next year s contract. Deadline to apply: May 10, 4:00 p.m. No applications for the 2018 production brush cutting season will be accepted after the deadline. Applications will only be accepted at the Band Office. Currently we have not been informed about location or start time of the contract. If you are interested in production brush cutting and you have the necessary experience, please submit completed application to Janet Brascoupe at the Band Office, 1, Paganokomin Mikan, by May 10, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. If you have any questions please call Erik Higgins at (819) ext. 27

36 PAUL MCDOUGALL RECENT SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS CANDIDATE FOR KITIAGN ZIBI ANISHNABEG CHIEF OR COUNCILLOR I RECOGNIZE NOT EVERYONE HAS ACCESS TO SOCIAL MEDIA. THEREFORE, IN THE COMING WEEKS I WILL BE SHARING MY SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS IN THE FLYER. There has been many inquiries regarding my place of residence and whether I intend on moving to the community when/if becoming chief or councillor. I appreciate and welcome these questions and encourage all who have any questions or concerns to contact me. In my current position, I am fortunate that I am able to be in the community for half the month. To answer the original question, I am in the process of moving back to Kitigan Zibi and will continue the process regardless of the outcome of the election. The community has a lot to offer and is a beautiful place to live. Although there are many contributing community members who live off-reserve, I am grateful to be able to come back to my home. I look forward to returning to my roots. ENQUIRE TODAY I HAVE RECENTLY INQUIRED THE FOLLOWING WITH THE ELECTORAL OFFICER. I THOUGHT IT WAS IMPORTANT TO SHARE WITH ALL KITIGAN ZIBI COMMUNITY MEMBERS. IF YOU REQUIRE MORE INFO - PLEASE CONTACT MNP. I would like to hear from you. Please , call or text me: paulrmcdougall@gmail.com (819) / (514)
