Every year Lena listens to her friends at the Curler and Chat talk about their vacations, but year after year she is disappointed. Ole s idea of a vacation is going to the Muskrat Lodge s annual convention, usually a camping event held in Potsdam, a park only two miles from their farm! This year, Lena has decided that she and Ole are going on a romantic vacation, even if it kills him! Want to make a day of it? We will provide bus transportation and a delicious lunch at the Bourbon Butcher in Farmington with a choice of: Bacon Cheeseburger, Meatloaf Sandwich, or Autumn Apple Salad. Please make selection at registration. You also have the option of purchasing a ticket for just the show for only $10/person, which can be picked up at the Parks & Recreation office! After the ride, take time to explore the Mall of America on your own. Take in the shops, the rides, and many other attractions. Meet afterwards at the Radisson Blu Fire Lake Grill House for a lunch including: chicken and mushroom wild rice soup, half club sandwich with rotisserie chicken and turkey, pecan bacon, provolone, tomato, field greens, along with a blueberry lemon white chocolate cookie for dessert. After leaving the Mall of America, enjoy a riding tour past some of the St. Paul Winter Carnival sites and the anticipated Super Bowl exhibits in St. Paul, Minneapolis and suburbs. Two nuns at the Sisters of Perpetual Sewing have been secretly making wine to keep the convent's doors open, but Paul and Sally, reporters and former fiancees, are hot on their trail. They go undercover as a nun and priest, but their presence, combined with the addition of a new nun, spurs paranoia throughout the convent that spies have been sent from Rome to shut them down. Wine and secrets are inevitably spilled as everyone tries to preserve the convent and reconnect with lost loves. The lunch buffet includes: chicken kiev, roast pork loin, country sausage with sauerkraut along with salad bar, sides, and coffee and tea. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide all before they were 30! Jersey Boys features hit songs such as: Sherry, Big Girls Don t Cry, Rag Doll, Oh What a Night and Can t Take My Eyes Off You. *Requires pre-registration and payment.
