Via the trolley, students are just a short ride away from shopping centers, the Gaslamp Quarter downtown with lots of entertainment options, and the Mexican border. Program Field trips: North Island Naval Air Base Naval Air Station North Island is the birthplace of naval aviation. It is also the homeport of two aircraft carriers along with 23 naval air squadrons. The base also hosts the US Naval Air Command, the Pacific Fleet Command, and the training site of the elite SEALS special forces.

USS Midway The USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum is located in downtown San Diego. Visit the historic warship and experience over 60 exhibits and 25 restored aircraft.

Sea World Engineering Tour Sea World San Diego is one of the largest marine parks in the world.
